bout me and my best friend
cutting through the canvas of my life full of swirls
picking out a diamond shape and naming it my world
the top is where we live at now
girl, we've got it all
and even when it fades away
i know you'll be waiting at the bottom to break my fall
im thankful for each day
you give my life a little sun
energy and confidence
i'm glad i've got just one
you know you've got a friend for life
when they're holding your hair back as you lean
forward into a basin full of not so lovely things
the party isnt over now but we dont mind spending our time
with my arms around your shoulders wiping mascara as you cry
its these moments on the bathroom floor that prove we can make it through
rain and fire, any man's desires, we're as thick as starbuck's whipped cream
sometimes we're black and white
night and sky but in the end we're all the same
two lonely girls that found their way
ever since that lonely day
you piss me off, you wipe my tears
you know my every move
we insult eachother with love and hate
but in the end, its all good.
im thankful for each day

haha, yah we just added the whipped cream part in right now, it said something else before but it didnt make any sense, so i was like "hmm, what is really thick" and ... thats what we came up with lol
i'll probably change it eventually
