Title: Do you hear the extra "look up"'s in the begining

....just making sure its not my head playing tricks on me ;)

if in fact other people do hear it, and its not an error on my cd, i'd like to announce that I discovered it  :twisted:  :wink:  :razz:


ok, in the begining of Papa, right before Vanessa starts singing with "Look up... "
it goes "look up, look up, look up" like all mixed and fast
but its really quiet..

you can hear it best when you have the CD in a cd player with headphones...

but meh.
just take a careful listen and vote in the poll.

ok, i'm not going crazy :-P I noticed it the other day, but i vote without the >_< face  :razz: but yeah, it was one of those things where i listened to it about 7658765 times before deciding i was crazy and moving on, lol.

Hey!  I did hear something! :D  (After about ten times thru :? )But I couldn't tell what it was and these dern headphones don't go up high enuff.  Maybe when I get home.

Sounds to me like a little digital editing glitch that occurred during the mixing of the track.  I wonder what kind of software and hardware they used for that.  Maybe they should've sprung for something a little more proven. :?

Same here...I can't hear it. Could someone post at approximately what time (0:30 to 0:33, for example--that sort of format) it occurs in the track? Because listening to the beginning, all I hear is the piano stop, silence, the piano start again and her singing.

I was listening to the leaked version actually.  I was too lazy to get the real thing (its downstairs in my room... a whole flight of stairs, its a long way!!!)

Wow, I DO hear it. It is SO faint though. I heard it on the regular CD version.

:amylee: I finally heard it...by recording the silence part and then cranking the volume up on just that two seconds...I didn't blow my ears off that way. I put up the recording, for those who can't hear it...download HERE (http://www.xenophanes.0catch.com/extraup.wav) (RIGHT-CLICK and SAVE AS). It is 350kb or so, but I didn't want to risk losing the "look up" at the very end by changing the format or anything...

Speaking of which, it is at the very end of the recording, and you hear it best with your volume cranked up pretty dang high (I turned it all the way up on my computer speakers)...

edit:  haha....with some tuning in Media Player, I finally hear it...

they shoulda put some sorta subliminal message in there too..
