lol yeah im going to see them in ireland, scotland, and england at the end of march. i havent seen them since my last trip to europe to see them in november. they have been spending all of their time over there. :( so if they wont come to me, i will go to them. :)

im pretty sure theyre using the alternate seating chart - the one with only a right and a left section. the "center left" and "center right" sections are actually the back of the left and right sections, thats why u cant click on the seats in the front. im pretty sure my seats are left section seats 9 and 10. i guess by saying i wanted to be on the left, that goes like if you are ON the stage. i meant left if facing the stage.. but whatever lol.

here's the alternate...so LEFT means section B i guess? i just thought they were useing the 4 section seating, but maybe i'm wrong

$16. i told her i wanted front row center but the seats in the left section (cuz u know like how the aisle separates it).. but she put me on the left if u are on the stage, not the left if ur facing the stage. so really im still front row center just on the opposite side of the aisle that i wanted to be, so itz not really that big of a deal lol.

to make it even more messed up, I called the info place, and they said the seating chart isn't the same as the one on website, that it's in a theater, which is different, so now i'm really lost...but the plus is that i'm still front row...i just dont know where in comparison to the stage 8O :D :!:

keep in mind, i called the info number and the woman there said that the Ritacco Theater is different than the Ritacco Center.

Okay I booked my ticket because they seem to sold out pretty fast! I'm in section LEFT, seat A-9 ($16 ticket). Hopefully that's good.
Now I need to figure out how to get there and where to sleep! lol
If someone offers me a ride and/or a place to crash for the night, I'd be veryyyy grateful! thank you :)

shit...if i had my own place, i'd let you stay, unfortunately (and how unfortunate it really is :evil: ) i still live with the folks, and have no extra space. I'm also about 2 hours away from the venue (which kind of blows now that i think about it). Don't know if anyone else lives closer to Toms River.

I may be able to catch a bus back to NYC (the last one seems to be leaving Toms River by 11.45 pm) where I can find a place to stay.
But yeah, the best would be something in the show's area...

ghisy, have you looked into new jersey transit trains? njtransit.com ... I am thinking about going, and if I was I would take the train. I'm pretty sure there is a train that goes to Tom's River. We could always meet in New York City and take the train together. I was going to buy a ticket earlier, but I wasn't sure if Steph was going to come to this one or not.

Then my brother decided to burn down the house we were living in. I remember the last day at school, in the car when the girl named Jennifer wanted to give me a kiss. Got an e-mail from someone at the Ritacco Center. This is what she had to say about the seating:
Is in a different part of the complex. The only chart we currently have online is when you buy the tickets.
The room is set up :
Left / Left Center / Center Right / Right
The best seats are in Left Center and Center Right. If your seats have single letters they are in the front tier.

this sounds to me like i paid $16 bucks a ticket to sit far left, when other payed $10 to sit dead center....that's a little strange i'd say

she sent me another e-mail....looks like my seats are closer to the wall, which might suck...but she said it was theater like, so i'm thinking that the Left and Right Sections might be angles slightly for a better view. we shall see. still can wait for the show. :)

the way i'm picturing it, the layout makes perfect sense....it's just the prices that dont make any sense. but what's done is done. atleast i'm going to the show, i'm still sitting front row, just not front and center.
I did notices that the CENTER LEFT and CENTER RIGHT SECTIONS filled up the quickest over on the ticket site.
(then again, there is always that chance where the woman really does have no idea, and i really am front and center :razz: ) but i doubt that

well i dunno but im skeptical. i was the first one to get tickets because i called the venue 15 minutes before they went on sale and the lady put me on hold for a sec, and came back and was like "yeah i can sell them to u now, why not." and she asked me where i wanted to sit and i was like, front row center!
so i got my tix and they are section left seats 10 and 11. if there really was only a left and right section these would in fact be front row center. if she screwed me over im gonna be wicked pissed!

Please be advised the Vanessa Carlton concert scheduled for March 20th at the Ritacco Center has been postponed due to Ms. Carlson's illness.

The show is rescheduled for April 8th, as posted on the official site and the venue's website (http://www.ritaccocenter.com). There is also a seating chart on the venue's site now, there was some confusion previously.

I'm not too happy. I now have to take a day off from work...PLUS, even though it lists Ari Hest as the opener, it conflicts with two(yes two) other gigs he has that day, so I doubt that is coming off.

however, what bothers me is that I have to drive down to Toms River (bout 1 1/2 hours) and back Friday....then drive down to AC (2 1/2 hours) the next day....but it should no doubt be worth it :D

There's a seating chart up now that wasn't available on the venue's website when tickets originally went on sale. Like you said, it's in a separate theater, so the seating chart you want is the one that says "RC Theater." It's at the bottom of the list so you have to select it when you go to the page with the seating chart. I'll link to it here:
