It's nothing special, just the top 20 countdown and VC's most recent video is on it. I think it's Pretty Baby? I'm not positive which video cause VH1 tends to lag behind on music videos a lot.

CBS has a sunday morning show where they do different stories. it's on at like 8 or 9 in the morning. well, i didn't see the show because i was sleeping, but my dad says he thinks he saw Vanessa on the show. he said the show was doing a story on celebrity poker in L.A. and they were showing shots of celebrities in this huge ball room with seperate poker tables all over. and the show showed a table playing poker and dad thinks he saw Vanessa at that table. dad said she had on a black tank top, and it said 'I don't like you" on the shirt. now, i'm not sure i believe my dad because he can get people mixed up pretty easily. so, for those of you in the west cost, you could probably still catch it on tv. dad said it was on in like the first half of the show.

Yep, the webmaster of the official Third Eye Blind site just confirmed that Stephan and Arion (the bassist) will be two of the "special guests" playing with her. He said a few guests would be there, so I'm thinking maybe Lindsay Buckingham...? *crosses fingers*

For those who have a better ear than I do...was she playing in a key other than B Major? The piano's pitch sounded a bit different...or perhaps that was just the individual piano itself?

See, that's why I was thinking C. I haven't actually seen the performance. But people said she was having a hard time with the high notes and the song was originally written in C, so instead of the musicians haviing to learn something entirely different it would make more sense to just play it in C. But I dunno :-\

News icon STAMFORD, Conn. (AP) -- Olympic all-around gymnastics champions Carly Patterson and Paul Hamm will appear together Sunday for the first time since the Athens Games as part of the "Celebration of Gold."
The one-hour broadcast on Fox will also feature performances by Olympic medalists Shannon Miller, Morgan Hamm and Blaine Wilson, and Hollie Vise, who won two gold medals at the 2003 world championships. The gymnasts will do routines while music videos from Britney Spears, Usher, Ashlee Simpson, Avril Lavigne and Lenny Kravitz play. Vanessa Carlton and Chris Isaak will perform live.
"We wanted to help maintain the buzz from the Olympics to give these talented athletes more exposure," said Paulette Heller, director of marketing for Conair, the appliance manufacturer and show sponsor.
Patterson is the first U.S. woman since Mary Lou Retton to win the Olympic all-around title. Hamm is the first American man to win gymnastics' biggest prize.
The show was taped last weekend.

Did anybody see this? She was on the "My First Time" show, talking about sex ed at her school. Her quote went something like: "I went to Catholic school for 2 years, and I was the only Jewish girl there. I know that's a little weird but I went because it was a good school or whatever! *gets flustered*" and later she was talking about how it didn't help that her sex ed class was taught by a NUN of all people, like "how would they know??".
She was looking cute too. Lots of layered necklaces and beads. And a sort of lacy cream colored long sleeve shirt. Oh and a big thick red lucite chunk bracelet on her wrist... 8)

I'm positive I'm not the first to say this as I'm never the first to notice anything new... but tonight I saw Vanessa on a Time Warner Cable commercial.
I was happy. It captioned Harmonium and she even ended the commercial with something cheesy I'm sure they paid her to say. :) haha
Oh and by the way, I don't know what song she was playing... never have heard that one. Can someone tell me what it was?

I searched for V on the imdb page, and that indeed says that she will be on episode #2.13, "The Hero Dies in This One."

Hey!! I take offense to that about the girls in the commercial, bc I'm one of those girls!!!! But that's ok, the 3 of us were pulling our hair out all day listening to it.. Retake after retake. We were like time is NOT on our side..lol.

It comes on at 2pm here. She's still doing "White Houses" I guess I'm not surprised it not the new single. And Tony Danza is filmed in NYC, not surprised she's on that show either (to promote her NYC and surrounding areas tour)

I have it recorded.
They played a segment of the White Houses video, broke for commercials, then came back and V played White Houses.
Unfortunately they broke for commercial before she finished playing.
Then they had a brief Q/A session (nothing new) that seemed to make V uncomfortable since he immediately asked about Steven Jenkins.
V then played A Thousand Miles, but again they cut away to commercials before she finished.

Not certain why you can't see it. I've tried from several computers without trouble testing.

On VH1 they have really weird shows. On one called Most Awesomely Bad Celeb Fashion and they were talking about celberities wearing wedding dresses to events, and there was a really quick pic of vanessa wearing a white dress. of course they didn't talk about her, because that dress wasn't a wedding dress..

On VH1 they have really weird shows. On one called Most Awesomely Bad Celeb Fashion and they were talking about celberities wearing wedding dresses to events, and there was a really quick pic of vanessa wearing a white dress. of course they didn't talk about her, because that dress wasn't a wedding dress..

In one VH-1 show theytalked about how much stuff stars get for free. the was a secondclip of were she said something like "it's all about the free stuff man". I saw her very often on shows like that

what about on i love the 80's part deux or whatever...i love the part where they talk about that one guy, can't remember his name, but there is a clip of him playing the soprano sax, and they ask celebs what kind of instrument he is playing and nessa says, "a clarinet?"
i just about died....

yeah! that weird guy with the girly curly hair. at first i thought he looked like weird al, and then i was like, that can't be right...
but vanessa was classic. who cares what he was playing...
i have to say, any vanessa clip is priceless...
