There's a player on that page and it plays the songs automatically. Perhaps you don't have the necessary plugin?

both thanks for liking paperdolls (recorded many years ago) and i think he is right - you must be missing the plug-in or its taking awhile to load - its a built in player on the page
please give me both positive and negative feedback regarding the content and not the quality - i now the quality is crappy because it's the best i can afford right now - but i would like feedback on the content and constructive criticism - since i trust you guys taste in music most!

Here's my thoughts:
Stupid Girl: I like this song and I can feel the emotion in it. This is a winner to me.
Lavender Heart: I like the lyrics but there's something about the guitar I'm not crazy about. It could be more about the sound quality than the playing.
Disappointment: I like this song a lot. I don't have anything bad to say about it.
Paperdolls: I'm not crazy about this one honestly. It is kind of distant sounding so I didn't hear it too well but I like the other 3 better.

and on a tape recorder and was eventually transfered
i was 15 when it was recorded ...
i will change it out soon
I have so much stuff i want you guys to hear
i have like 40 new songs from this year alone

I only listened to two of them. I liked Lavender Heart, it's really unique sounding (unique in a good way). It's not like typical pop or anything like that. However, Stupid Girl for me just sort of dragged on, it didn't really seem to have exposition, climax and resolution. It was just kind of exposition the entire song and then it was over. Keep working at it Steph you have a lot of potential :)

BIG NEWS... SEE ME SING ON NATIONAL TV
Check out "Weekends with the DL" or "Weekends on the DL"
whatever, DL Hughley's Talkshow is called
after the 3rd or 4th commercial break you will see my playing guitar
and singing "Stupid Girl" - one of my original songs
on electric guitar with the band "Tony Tony Tone" as they come
back from break.
I was in the audience and got asked to entertain them
so, i picked up the guitar and started to play with the band
and started to sing and everyone was into it so, they started
to film and appartently you can now catch me on TV
The show airs on Friday and Saturdays around 11? 11:30pm?
on Comedy Central - it's a huge deal - me singing on national TV
those that know me know this isnt something I would ever seek out to do
but I was very proud that I did it
The guest on the show I was on were Bernie Mac, Bill Burr, and Ariana Huffington I think?
anywho - watch it this weekend on Comedy Central!

I played my first open mic tonight...
I went to Kulak's Woodshed on
Laurel Canyon in N. Hollywood.
I will play it again next Monday night
if anyone is interested in coming out

on where it is and how to get in for free, etc.
It was successful -
I was number 21 to play... they pull the spaces out of a bucket
i made a friend named Nick who was playing as a V-day gift
to his g.friend back in FL...she was watching live on the internet ...
she then sent an email and when
you send an email... this yellow siren type light goes off and
the emcee reads the email... so, watch next week and send me
an email if I play... or come out and see me... this was my first
time really playing anywhere and I had such great feedback soooo
I will attempt to do it again!
Kulak's - is a place unlike any other - people would LOVE...
it's funky and has stuff hanging off the walls - seats range from
dining room chairs, sofas, theatre seating, and a pull out sofa
with canopy where a few people fell asleep...it's some little
performance space stuck in the 70's but with modern funk
Nate Morton told me about this place last year... and I'm sorry
I didn't trust him enough to make it out until now.
They have a 24 hour HIGH QUALITY multi camera webcast
at www.kulakswoodshed.com
and if you pay them a little money (which I did)... they make you a dvd of your performance... HIGH QUALITY... incredible DVD
so... if anyone wants to see my performance I have it on DVD!!!

Thanks to Jen - for her email...thanks for being in Gainsville, FL and Nick having to do this last week so you could see it - or else we wouldnt have met - and i am glad i have an open mic friend that is willing to play along with me... and remember to watch online just like Jen - if you are watching - send an email while we are playing - they read them outloud...and it let's us know you are out them - listening and supporting!

Is it at a coffee shop or something? It sounds like one. I'll have to get back to you on whether I can because it's around playoff time for the Lakers and I have to see if my mom works that day. I'll let you know one way or the other a little closer to the date.
Kulak's does seem difficult for me to go to and that's why I haven't offered to come because it isn't too far from me. I heard that someone had an open mic at Café Bellisimo. You should do that. I'd definitely go there because it's like 5 minutes from my house.

Things went really well - I had close to 50 people come to hear me and the place was standing room only... heard great feedback too.
so mark your calendars because they offered me another show... this time a coveted weekend slot... longer set.... a saturday night at 8pm in june... not sure which weekend yet... but i will let you know as soon as i know!

So, Zach and I have been in the studio recording some of the hits for an album hopefully out by autumn. I have been working like a dog day and night. School, Plays, Services, Recording, all that jazz.
I am very much looking forward to some jam time...

THIS MONDAY NIGHT is super important - it's Zach's CD Release/ B'day Show at Molly Malone's in Hollywood - you all must come -I am singing back-up on the set - but more important - come just to buy his new album - a lot of hard work went into it - and i even did all the cover art - took the photos - painting the painting, etc... so, please come out and support us and buy a cd for the amazingly low proce of $6

June 28th - I'm playing at The Palms Bar in W.Hollywood
July 6th - I'm Playing Tangier (I hear it's awesome!)
July 8th - I'm Playing at Hamburger Mary's in W. Hollywood

July 21st - I'm at The Rainbow Bar & Grill in Hollywood
I love you guys and I hate to beg but this is my first time playing so many gigs back to back - all of these shows I need a draw of at least 10 people - so PLEEEEEEEASE come and PLLLLEEEASE bring some friends... I am currently un-employed over the summer (i might have a few leads buuuut) for now gigging is my only way to make money - and if no one shows up i not only dont get a dime - i also lose my impecable reputation and chance to play these places again.... the gig i need the most people at I belive is Tangier. BUT come to as many as you can - I really need your help - you are my true friends and my true street team - so please get the word out!

yeah, I have a new 7.1 cannon megapixel camera. It takes great pictures, it even records but I've never used the recording on it. I have like a 1GB card I think? I'm pretty sure its one, if not a 2GB. Its really great :) My parents gave it to me for christmas! :D Glad you like 'em Steve.

SWEET! WeBCaSts ROCK! I'm visiting my family in Perth for the first time in
over 7 years. They have broadband also so I'll be sure to tune in if the time
differential works out. 7:45PM in L.A. is 10:45AM the following day (I lost all
of the time differential because of of hyperlinks on timeandate.com). I look
forward to being able to make a successful move to Perth in June and suffer
the tyranny of distance much less than on the eastern seaboard! Go girrrrl!

so, i'm pretty sure the band is splittin up - so this will probably be my last show of my own music for a very long while - i will probably still continue to go into the studio and record - but this show on march 11th will be my last live performance prob til i finish my degree - its very hard to go to school full time and work full time and rehearse and perform... so MARCH 11 Sherman Oaks FREE free parking ALL AGES i hope some of you come out...

I'm still in LA, CA... getting my degree in Commercial Music.
Still Writing Music and Appearing in Musicals and Theater
This summer I am in 2 shows...
Cabaret

Speech and Debate
both in the San Fernando Valley here in LA.
I have been going on numerous auditions for productions outside of LA too
so, maybe I'll be in your town soon?

Just got back from a fantastic trip to NYC.
It was freezing and I caught a cold -
but I saw a few shows and had a generally great time!
school starts again tomorrow, but over the break I have been a busy bee!
