all the tables real close up were by reservation only. the tables are closest to the stage. but if you sit at the table you have to get food or something i'm pretty sure.

oh....hows the view if your not at a table? the place sounds pretty small, only 150 seats or so.

there were some couches right behind the tables, and we sat near those, and I could see fine. It is a rather small place, and I imagine that you could see from wherever you sit.

well it really depends on what kind of money you want to spend... There are voice recorders you could buy in Walmart for around $50 but you could go to Best Buy or some electronic store and find one of better quality for a little more money,
As for video recording, I use a digital camera since it's not that obvious that I'm recording...

im gonna record it, i alwaysssss do, but i have no idea how to get that stuff onto the computer and into mp3. i just have my laptop. plus mine is just a voice recorder so im sure someone will be there to tape with professional equipment.

ugh!....i found the perfect DV camcorder to bring to the concert to tape it. it's so tiny. but it's $600. i'd love to get it, but i dont have that kinna $$$$ right now. damn it.

I didn't get to Telecharge in time to get tickets to this show so I bought 2 tickets off ebay for $40 each.
The person I bought it from has 2 more tickets available for $79.99 plus $15 fedex overnight shipping. Let me know if someone needs 2 tickets and I'll contact him for you definately. He only accepts paypal.

Just wanted to confirm to all you Nessaholics fanatics that I will be at this show also. I'm staying about a half hour away from Joe's Pubs at a hotel. I'm driving all the way from TEXAS! I'll be using this trip to visit a long time friend of mine who goes to NYU.

I can't go to the show because I will be visiting Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia....it’s a trip of a lifetime I have always wanted to take. I would change the date but the airplane tickets have already been bought...
Anyways....is anyone going to tape this show??? And upload it somewhere??? Please please please? I know you said it might not be allowed but a few of you are trying anyways right? Camcorders might be easy to spot but just a regular tape recorder might be easier to get in...It is driving me crazy that I can't go, I wish the date was sooner!! i don't think they assign actual tables until you show up (if i remember correctly)...
i think you may get "better" tables the sooner you are in line/there

Oh that's good then! I was worried about seating for a while because it would suck for everyone to be all split up and not have good views... Have you been there before? If so, are there any bad views where you definately wouldnt want to sit?

yah i have been there a few times... i even saw V there once...
the only "bad" view would be the tables that are technically behind her but the running joke is there isn't a bad seat in the entire place cuz it is so small!

so the "booths" is where the execs were last time
there are tables surrounding the stage and her piano was facing the right wall kinda but tilted so she was facing the right/bottom part of the stage. so the tables to the upper left might not be the best.
then there were stools and another little seating area up by the bar which is elevated over the ground part.

there were a lot of nessaholics sitting right in front of the booths along the elevated part... it is like this huge wood part that just has holes cut in the middle where the table is and for peoples legs.
Joann and I were over on the right on the stools which is a great view except the waitresses walk through there to get to the bar so it was kinda a pain in the ass a few times.

i didn't have reservations before and the nessaholics didn't get a booth, we got to sit on the edge of the booths, not really at the table lol
and those booths were for executives that didn't show so the nessaholics eventually just slide back and snatched the table

well, during the LR concert, Ivy and I switched seats during white houses so I could get a look at her hands and see what she was playing, because I have the whole song down except for the bridge. Well apparently, some people came on over at the oboard and told how rude it was, as if we didnt have a good view already, and all this otherstuff so I dont know if they'll be at the Joe's Pub show

on a slightly different note, my 2 friends, parents and i have been here since the 18th (yesterday). we're staying at the renassaince (sp?) hotel in times square and we'll be here 'til wednesday so if anyone wants to meet up somewhere, email, IM or PM me. blah not likely, but i'm feeling hopeful.

theres a parking garage like right before joes pub. it even says on the sign park here for: joe's pub (and a bunch of other places lol)
it wasnt too expensive either. i think it cost me $20 for 8 hours last time.

hey guys. i'm "John" that kaysha referred to. as i told her via pm, stumbled on this place last night in a desperate last minute search for tickets. started reading, saw kaysha may have some extra tickets and next thing i know, i'm going! just wanted to say what's up to everyone and i'm looking forward to tomorrow. also, considering how sketchy it is to pm someone randomly (for the most part) and get such a great response is incredible and i want to publicly thank kaysha for being so cool and hooking me up.
also, i've asked my friend to go with me but i haven't heard back from her yet. if she goes, wanted to see if anyone wanted to meet up for a few drinks beforehand. otherwise i think my 16 year old sister is gonna come with me, which would obviously change my plans a little. anyway, look forward to meeting some new people tomorrow night and of course for the show.
