I saw Carrie today after the Today show!!!! I woke up at 5 am and got there at 6ish for the show.
I was kinda far when she performed but after that, I saw her when she was leaving the studio and I was like 3 feet away, she's so beautifuuul. :oops:
I wanted a pic with her but she took like 2 and took off. And I didn't have anything for her to sign (I'm gonna get the single later today!)
And nappy in between because I'm running on like 5 hours of sleep...

It's only out till the 30th cuz it's limited edition but there's like two LONG, like really long interviews Carrie does. She talks about what the audition process was like for her & then about her hometown & stuff. It's pretty interesting so far. And it also shows both Bo's & Carrie's homecoming or something.

You guys will love it.

She's playing at the same place Kelly did in my town like 15 mins away & somehow I managed to get floor seats, 14 rows back which is closer than I saw Kelly. Ahhh i'm so excited. She'll be here on April 7th so it's an early b-day present from my Dad. It was the most random decision ever, as soon as I saw her name I freaked lol.

Does she have a fanclub or anything? I wanna try to meet her so bad. I need to get her cd now haha.

So far I really like "Before He Cheats", "Some Hearts", "Inside Your Heaven" (which I can't get out of my head now) & "We're Young & Beautiful". What are your guys' favorites?

Btw, the concert i'm going to is almost sold out. I'm like in awe because most people in my town only listen to fall out boy or rap.. lol & i'm serious too, it's rare people like something different.

Hmmm, I've only listened to the first studio session one and wow, her voice sounds so young! I think she was 14 on those from I read.

I don't know if she is doing side or main stage (I'm thinking side, since she is spending most of the summer with Kenny Chesney and he's coming on the 4th), but I am definitely thinking about going, especially if she is doing side stage. I rule side-stage acts because I just get there at Noon to get front row :twisted:.

I have to say that Kelly Clarkson was so much more fun in concert who we saw at the same place & seemed more into the crowd, but Carrie was pretty good. She sounds amazing live & is so pretty. She sang a couple Guns & Roses songs too, 1 was "sweet child of mine" I think, which rocked.

I have video of "some hearts" which was the 2nd to last song, sorry for the crappy quality & the guy in my way lol thankgod he didnt stand up during the whole concert! you can see a couple pics here too, we were on the floor & they still arent that great cuz the lighting really sucked but here ya go. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v234/musiclover8603/?sc=1&multi=1&addtype=local&media=image

Oh yea & me & my friend & some other people who came after us, found the backstage area where band members came out of & stuff & waited for about an hour in the freezing cold, but no Carrie :cry: we met her backup singer tho lol she was soo sweet.

We were kinda disappointed & I felt so bad cuz a mom & young girl were more upset than we were, everyone finally gave up after an hour or so :-( I understand, but it still kinda sucked cuz it was FREEZING. oh well.

"Flat On The Floor" is indeed a very catchy song!
I'm just a bit sad they didn't include "Ever Ever After" on the album (would make a nice bonus track for an overseas version, hehe!)
