okay...so we dont have an exact date just yet, but it's sometime in august. :)
EDIT: okay...so I was listening to "The One" that Krys recorded at Joe's Pub. At the very end of the MP3, V says she's doing Cribs next month.
I remember hearing at The Living Room show her saying August, but I'm not positive.
so it's either July or August :D

Well, according to MTV.com, Cribs is only two episodes in, and she wasn't on either one. The site also says that the show airs on Thursday nights at 10:30, but according to tomorrows schedule on the site, it's not on.
So we havent missed, but we still don't know the air date.

Almost seems like MTV has 'black-balled' Vanessa or something... maybe her former record company has influence on MTV and they want to stick it to VC for her honesty about how crappy they have been.... this is just a thought...

Well, it was very exciting to watch Nessa show her house on cribs: Her old room was much gloomier- I guess she brightened the tone.
Anyway, Nessa showed a shark on Cribs and it gave me a burst of joy (and a litte bit of pain) to see it. It so happens, that I (yes me) gave her that shark.
It was a normal day, I walked into Nessa's house, said hi to her mom (asked her to make me a sandwich) and and waltzed right into her room. I asked (I remember it like yesterday):
"Do you like marine life?"
She simply replied, "Excuse me?"
"I bought you something special"
"Let me see," She opened it up and she saw a shark suspended in blue water, "What's this?"
"I always knew you wanted to be a marinebiologist, so I got you a shark!"
As I was forced to leave the apartment, the shark hit me from a window, I guess Nessa dropped it trying to play the killer shark game (one of her favorites with me, I don't know why she was the shark and I the helpless fish all the time).
I took the key of her apartment that I forged recently and placed it right back into her room, and like clockwork, she dropped it when I was walking below.
I arrived on one of her dates, as usual and pulled the shark out from my purse and placed it into her spaghetti, so she wouldn't forget it. Unfortunately, the marinara sauce splashed on her blouse and she escorted me out. She finally decided to keep the darn thing forever, I don't know why she was so attached to it, it was just a shark!
Well, I gotta go hit the hay, hope you enjoyed my memory.

wow! she's so cute. and i was so excited when they showed the shark in her kitchen because it was two of my friends and i who gave it to her back in june. i seriously screamed when i saw her showing it off lol. she's got GREAT taste in furniture too. and being a huge lord of the rings fanatic, i was excited too! how much better could that get?!?! vanessa= definitely one of the most amazing people ever. =)

omg as a follow up...i don't know if didntmeantobeaBURDEN was joking or not, but that's not true about him/her giving vanessa the shark. wow...that made me a little bit mad i'm sorry if i'm causing something. but i just don't think it's very mature to lie about something like that. my friends and i went to the store "evolution" on june 20th, the day before her concert we went to in nyc. we saw the shark and all pitched in a our money to get it for her and then the next day we gave it to her in a handbag that was shaped like a hoodie, with a unicorn printed on it, and with some pomegranete body butter. sorry if i'm ranting too, but i just can't believe that someone would make up the story about going to her house and giving it to her.

I thought it was a song that we never had listened to. At least, I play on the piano most of Vanessa's songs and I don't know that.

Someone told me it was "Red Ditty". It definetley wasn't "Put Your Hands On Me". It could be a new song I guess. I'm not too sure though.

It fits with the song.... but it is not a recorded part as of now.. definatly not red ditty or anyother song of hers that we have heard

For fans outside of Australia; MTV is only broadcast via cabled pay-TV network
so while this might have been good timing, it offered V much less exposure :oops:

Try VLC?
I know my friend has it on her IBook and it seems to play everything fine.

I copuldn't play the file on my new comp as well althou I had codecs etc... It did play on my brother's old pc which, in fact, had the same codecs as mine.
About one week ago I downloaded trial version of InterVideo WinDVD7 and the file do play in every video programm now.
