Found out this afternoon that all data that had been backed up onto a 720Mb
CD for me, so a low level format could be carried out on my (Po)Puper Win 32
Trojan-infected PC, has turned out be be unreadable so I've lost ~ 5 years or
so of files including digital artwork I spent hundreds of hours working on!! I'm
up for a flash drive or 2 after 10 days without having access to a working PC!
I can't believe you sent me 3 cds on YOUR birthday...what the hell? I got them today!! Thank you soooooooooo much.
What did you want from me again? :D
Just 1 copy of your CD to replace the one I had stolen back on the 3rd of April

I did get your SMS; it made such a long shift on Friday night so much better :wink:
The best part of my birthday was being able to invite my new boss around for
a four-course dégustation dinner and run into some sensational wine; namely
the 2002 Johann Joseph Prüm Bernkasteler Badstube Riesling Kabinett, which
was great with the Chilled Peach Soup & even better with the Pumpkin Pie :razz:
Belated pressies include the 'Yin Yang' Mad Hatter from hatsinthebelfry.com &
Corel 12 Suite Upgrade; which arrived a day either side of Delta's birthday :D

Thought I'd bump this thread rather than start a new one for this years' :wink:
I had an absolutely awesome day; started early making a White Chocolate
& Raspberry / Milk Chocolate & Hazelnut Cheesecake as a birthday cake :razz:
I was able to sign off work in the Restaurant at 10:00PM and sit down to a
birthday style dégustation of my own... it seemed a little bit excessive, but
it was so much fun to share with friends and worth all the effort. The menu;
Goi Tom Thit (Vietnamese Salad with Prawn & Pork)
2001 Miceli Sparkling (Chardonnay/Pinot Gris/Pinot Noir)
Heo Rung Rang Muoi ( Salt & Pepper Wild Boar)
Vit Chien (Fried Duck)
2005 Young's Pinot Noir
White Chocolate & Raspberry / Milk Chocolate & Hazelnut Cheesecake
2003 Konrad Noble Riesling / 2004/2005 Wilson Vineyard LH Zinfandel
The best part was opening pressies after the dinner including the copy of
Heroes and Thieves that arrived Friday; as late as it could be arrive ahead
of my birthday 8) The new VC album is absolutely unbelievably fantastic :razz:
Highlight of the night was friends rocking up late and having to enter via a
window because the front door had already been locked. I had to move a
table and put a chair for them to hop over the window sill but it was worth
it; I got a hop-step-hug from my co-worker Mari echoed soon afterward in
Vanessa's lyrics in Home which subsequently became my favorite track *hug*
For me it's a glimpse
