Yes shes our new Australian Idol and everyone is probably like "who gives..." but I wanted to make this thread because shes a really cool girl and I thought some people might like her because she has a Kelly Clarkson vibe to her.

Kate won Idol lastnight which was good for me because this is the first time my favorite has actually won so I was chuffed about that.

Her last name is pronounced De-rouge as in Moulin Rouge and her debut single "Maybe Tonight" is really lovely.

Hope you like her because Australia obviously does  :D

There's a rumor on the official backstreet boys fanclub mb that she might be opening for them.. interesting. I might have to check her out now. And if she does open for them, one of you will have to go & let me hear the bsb concert haha just kidding.

hey katie

i listened to maybe tonight on the website.  it sounds like a decent song but the audio quality is such crap.  I will see if the stores have it out here tho, thanks for the suggestion :)
