Oh well.. I watch this show every saturday.. I must admit its one of my favorites :lol: the first season was pretty cool.. I thought Kara Saun won.. but she didn't.. it was that guy.. I dont remember his name :? I saw the other day there is a new season.. and that's so cool! 8)

I became OBSESSED during season 2, though. I love Santino!! Although he started to disappoint me toward the end.

haha, I know seriously, I sorta feel bad for him too, though I do agree, the hat was... aweful! He was so proud of it and then the judges bashed it and then he says he was unsure about the hat... riiight. He loved it.
But, yeah... he's way behind the times in fashion. Who knows, maybe he'll suprise us... Idk though.

That was a great dress, very innovative. The goal was pretty much to make the outfits look like they didn't come from apartment supplies and the coffee filter guy and Laura were the only ones who accomplished that.

I love Project Runway, I'm not watching the new season yet because it hasn't aired in latinamerica, but I loved the first two, my favorite designers were from season 1 Austin and from season 2 Daniel Vosovic.

my personal opinion. I really thought Angela should have gone. Or Bradley. I really didn't like his... and Anglea's looked like a prostitute. Poor Kathrine. I mean, granted her dress wasn't AMAZING, I definately didn't think it was the worst.

I agree. and I think that she had such a passion for the show too - I feel like there are some other people (keith) who are on there just for the noteriety - not because they truely love fashion, you know?

I completely agree. Keith obviously doesn't really have a passion for doing the show, he didn't complete the last challenge, he basically thought he was too good to make the outfit for the dog. He annoys me.

The lady with the dolls and dresses who was rejected (when they shows the ones you're supposed to laugh at) stays at the some resort I do the same week I do, every year. She brought some to try to sell this year. She won the sailboat regatta this year. I came in second to last. Whoo hoo!! 8)

Project Runway pisses me off. The judges have boring taste. Allison is so much more talented than someone like Laura. Laura is not a designer - her dresses are too plain for her to claim she "designed" them. Those dresses have been made millions of times - for ladies in their 60's!!!! :razz:

I really hope he isn't in the top three, I think his collection would be atrocious and painful to look at. The only thing he could possibly do to make me like him is to destroy Laura's black dress she keeps wearing. She looks like a halloween decoration.

just like the last two seasons, there are only 2 women left at this point in the competition, and maybe 2 men who I feel deserve to be. I don't know why the judges seem to favor the men every season. I know Chloe won last year, and Wendy and KaraSaun were in the final three the first season. But even in the professional fashion world women's designs are made predominately by men. Not trying to spark a debate or anything here, just making an observation.

I was so depressed last week when there was no new episode that I had very high hopes for last night's smackdown for the final 3. What a cop out! Final 4??? Please. I like Michael, I do, but aren't the judges supposed to make a decision based on what is shown for that particular challenge and not comprehensively everything that has flwon down the runway? If that were the case Michael should have been out. But if we're taking everything into consideration why not bring Robert and Kayne back for fashion week! I agree with you Gina that I think Jeffrey is going to win as long as he doesn't mess up his entire collection. Sure he's an arrogant prick most of the time, but when he talks about his family and how much winning the show would mean to him I think he's very sincere. I am more excited for the reunion next week than the finale right now anyway.

Okay, the finale's on in two days and I'm super hyper excited.
As for who I think will win: Laura. Not because I just love her (although that's a part of it), but because
a) Jeffery, from what it seems, will be eliminated.
b) Micheal's collection doesn't seem good enough.
c) Uli isn't being different enough. It's what the judges will expect.
d) Laura's really taken her own style to a whole new level.
Now for the flood of dissaprovement.

We'll see. I don't really care who wins, as long as Laura doesn't. I CARED in seasion 2 (huge Santino fan), but this season was a real let-down in my opinion. (I feel like I've said that a hundred times - sorry if I have!!)
If Jeffrey weren't such an asshole, I'd really want him to win. But as it is, I'd probably rather it go to Uli...but I just doubt the judges would give it to her.

i think it could come down to laura and Jeffrey. they've alluded to it almost all season. TV guide published some runway pictures and I think Jeffrey DID show because Maralinda is in his green striped dress in the photo. But really, I am with Shannon that I don't care as much this season who wins.

I have mixed feelings about Jeffrey on the whole. Sometimes I think he is a very sincere person, and other times he opens his mouth and I just want to shut him up. there's being confident, and then there's being an arrogant prick, and he doesn't know how to tow that line. Good point about showing but being eliminated from the competition. we'll find out Wednesday!

Michael lost first, then Laura. It was between Uli and Jeffrey and Jeffrey won. I prefered Uli, but I think she's going to be very successful anyway. Same with Laura.

Her collection was NOT good, granted she can sew very well as we all already knew, her taste is just... yuck. I looooved Jeffreys collection, definately things that I would wear. Michaels was a bit too skanky for my taste, a few of the pieces were nice, but as a whole I wasn't that impressed... which is sort of shocking. I liked Michael. Uli's collection was really great, I was impressed with hers. After seeing all 4 collections, I thought it was down to her or Jeffrey. Congrats to Jeffrey though! I jumped out of my seat when he won! haha.

Also in the September issue of Elle Nina writes in her column that the new season has been in production for a few weeks and they are filming right now. Heidi also announced on her website PR4 is back and is the best one yet (but of course, she probably has to say that). Woop!!!

I have to say that this show (and America's Next Top Model) are my two gulity pleasures/reality tv that I watch. I really try to keep my reality TV to a minimum, but love these two shows!
Did anyone watch this past summer season on Lifetime? It was more dramatized than before (catering to the Lifetime crowd..?) I actually really liked Gretchen and a lot of people on the Project Runway facebook page HATED her! She won, though people did make valid points about her clothing not being too relevant and the double talk the judges did. I wouldn't have minded seeing Mondo win but I personally would never wear his clothing and would totally wear Gretchens. I also figured out that almost ALL of the designers show at fashion week, not just the top three! There was a website that had pictures from all the shows/designers from the entire week and in the Project Runway runway show, even the guy who like to do clothes out of props showed a collection! Casanova, Ivy, Christopher, April...everyone! So I don't get why "getting to fashion week" is the big thing of the show when most of them show anyway (just not televised) They still get the exposure to the crowd that is there which would be more important than what is shown on TV since TV is the general public, not the fashion savvy divas in the industry.

Yupper! It's a DVR staple of mine. I am so underwhelmed by everyone really. I'm not a fashion person to any extent, but nothing seems really new or fresh like in past seasons. Mondo/Gretchen last season, Jeffery, Seth Aaron... these people all had a really strong point a view I just don't see that this season. But I'd have to say Anya as well
