Title: Help with the title of a new poem?
Post by: bumblebee429 on August 19, 2006, 11:17:45 pm
Untitled
silence
what does this silence mean?
is silence emptiness
or doesn it mean you're thinking of me?

laughter
what does your laughter mean?
are you laughing at me
or do you laugh out of apathy?

tears
what do your liquid thoughts mean?
are you crying because you miss me
or are you crying because you don't know better?

"I'm sorry"
what does it all mean?
are you sorry because you're not here
or are you sorry because you never will be?

Hey, I wrote this poem a couple weeks back, but it's driving me insane that it doesn't have a title!
Any suggestions?
I'm considering something along the lines of "Confusion", "Unanswered Questions" or "Questionable Intentions"; Something about all the unanswered questions that are left behind when someone refuses to talk to you (or is "silent" to you).

xoxo Sarah

You should title it "Silent" or "Silence."

Yes I agree, "Silence" seems like the obvious title.
Nice poem
