I LOVE Meg & Dia. I'm getting their album for Christmas but I downloaded most of the songs & some from their previous album & i'm obsessed too.
I found them on myspace before they got big a long time ago cuz they came to my town but i never found out where they were playing so i missed them.
you should check out the songs from our home is gone, thats my fav. album.

Just got their album the other day & love it. The only songs I haven't heard were Rebecca & Getaways Turned Holidays & holy crap the song Rebecca is amazing. It's the only piano driven song on there, so that's by far my fav. besides Indiana.
Also, I saw their music video for Monster on mtv after a show, I thought that was kinda cool since their an independent band.

Have you guys heard 'Halloween' yet? I think it's featuring on a compilation CD and they also posted a myspace video of them playing it acoustic in their bathroom, lol.

Pretty good. Reminds me of a mix of Flyleaf & Eisley (the song Monster). Not to say they are ripping anyone off but wow it REALLY sounds like a mix of those 2 bands to me. I like it.

also. "here, here and here" the song sounds awesome in the trailer!

the album is fantastic. definitely surpassed expectations, which surprised me.

Oh, is that really Meg doing the British accent in The Last Great Star...? I just assumed it was Dia, since she does almost all of the singing. They sound more and more alike all the time!

Meg & Dia is one of my favorite bands. I recommend listening to the song 'Separate' from their new album, Cocoon. Although it may be very different from Vanessa's music, I like that song for similar reasons I like hers.

for some reason i'm not too into cocoon, though i thought i would be. i loved here, here, & here and eventually learned to love it's always stormy in tillamook but for some reason... not their latest work. which is odd, because it's much closer to the music i generally listen to (i usually lean folky) than here, here, and here.
