I don't usually post- mostly just lurk on here, but these snippets made me so excited!!!!! This is her best work to date. A lot of her songs sound like they would be perfect on film soundtracks or tv shows (which would be great for promotion too!).  
This is beauty.

In the "Who's News" section of the USA Weekend Edition (November 30-December 2, 2007), Vanessa is featured.  

Here's what it says:

"Q: What ever happened to Vanessa Carlton?  Is she still with Third Eye Blind's Stephan Jenkins?
     - K. Anderson, Tewksbury, Mass.

Carlton, 27, and Jenkins, 43, broke up earlier this year, though he did help to produce her new album, Heroes & Thieves.  She also got a little help from pal Stevie Nincks, who sang on one track."

does anybody have the segment of that untitled song she played on Gotti's way that was like "we've got it down" or something like that??
...i think it was in Gotti extras on the website

EDIT: it's not the segment HarmySandwhich posted (Thank you, by the way)...there was a separate segment on the Gotti extras website

Sorry if this has already been posted, but I haven't seen it yet...

Under "News" on Vanessa's website it says:
"Vanessa Carlton's 'Nolita Fairytale' will be on Gossip Girls - CW Network - on November 28."

It looks like she's starting to get some good publicity - the Hills and now this!

i just scrolled down a little more on that same page on Vanessa's website and there are a BUNCH of appearances added! This is so exciting!  I guess most of them are radio stations?  This is great!

Vanessa's website looks like it was recently updated (or i haven't noticed it perhaps?).  On the front page it says "Vanessa Carlton now on Tour! Check Tour Dates!" and if you click on that, the dates of upcoming shows appear.  On Sat 11/17 they have her playing on the CBS Saturday Morning Show in New York, New York.

Anyway, hasn't Vanessa already played on this or am I mistaken?  Do you think they're just going to replay the clip from the last time she was there?

How do you download those quicktime audio rips that Kulpdogg made onto one's Itunes library? I assume they're MP3s already, but i cant find a way to save them onto my computer in order to add them to my itunes library.

Does anybody know why Vanessa hasn't promoted Heroes and Thieves at the AOL studios (sessions at AOL) like she did for Harmonium?  

I always look forward to those performances with just her and the piano that AOL features.
