another one. i dont even remember writing this. but i do kind of like it.
feedback would be greatly appreciated.

prince charming where are you?
the clock has long past struck twelve.
my heart pulses at the speed of light
and you know what they say-speed kills the innocent soul.
finding myself anoxiously awaiting your sweet fragrance
and the security only found in your arms.
but i hate the scent of doubt lingering in my mind.
where lust and addicition are also in mind.
they are only thoughts of you, charming.
my thoughts are only of you.
of your heart beats set to the time of mine.
of your sweet breath on my lips.
the feel of your embrace and the sensation of your words in my ear.
for you, prince charming, i will wait forever.


this is written by me and only me. i own this and its a product of my own mind, yada yada yada. just dont steal it. =]

this is an old poem i wrote after a bad relationship that ended a few years ago. i was really young, but, of course, i thought i knew everything. so i wrote it. however, it gets pretty blunt. critique and questions would be appreciated. have at it!

you flashed a grin as you walked pst
so i got in line fir a ticket on your roller coaster ride.
slip a hand around her waist and into my pants
put your gift in a box and ship it to "no pride".
i'll take a pill and it'll be alright
then just put on a smile
since we're all clowns in a circus,
but my name is denial
hello to you and shake a hand, do a little dance
then flash that grin of yours and put me back in your trance.
it's playing for keeps and no refunds
so take your wins and move along.
nothing to see.
have a good day-because you don't belong
so buy your one way ticket and hop on
we're going for a joy ride
back to ol' nightmare lane
so shut the door and tie that blindfold tight
then give me my sanity in little doses to make me think im sane.
while in real life im in a straight jacket in my enclosed cell.
i give up.
i've already lost.
so take your new win and grin
cause this expired tickets got too much a high cost
so a new whore can have a ride on your roller coaster high



i dont really think it conveys the message i wanted it to when i wrote it, but it compares what i believed at the time to what was really going on.
i've up for feeback: good? bad?
i can also explain because its a pain to understand. i just felt like sharing it since im looking back at old english projects. =]

Polls / pet friendly colleges

do you think that college students should be allowed to keep pets on campus in their dorms?  there are two colleges that are doing it right now, and it seems pretty successful.  eckard in st. petersburg, fl, and stephens college in st. louis i think.  obviously, the rules would be strict as they are in both of those colleges, like they can't be taken from the dorms, can't be over 40 pounds, can't have more than one dog/cat, etc.  also, nyu is allowing dogs who are being trained to become seeing eye dogs.

Other Musicians / the forecast

they're a band thats up and coming. they write lyrics that have a lot more depth to them than they seem. its classified as indie im assuming, but they are drop dead amazing. the lyrics seem to have color to them when sung like a famous golden sunset. thats my opinion though. im not too good at writing about bands that you should check out, but they are just phenominal in every aspect. they have catchy songs that you find yourself constantly getting stuck in your head [and even singing without realizing] and the melodies are thoughtful and sweet melodies.
so do yourself a favor and check out this amazing band before everyone else does

hey! name's gina. =] i was originally SimplyComplex on here years ago, but i became really stupid and forgot my password & email.
so new me, new name, new login
so im 17 and im a florida girl born and raised. the beach is my calling home.
im italian but i speak no word of it however i am learning la language de espanol.
i repeat things a lot because i usually forget that i have said it or heard it, so if i ask you a question that ive already drilled you on, SORRY
im a walking contradiction and everything i say comes from the heart.
any more knowledge about me and i think you'll be bored.
however i will bore you with the fact that i've meet vc & me and my friends gave her that dead shark that she showed on cribs, so that the answer to the question of "what the fuck, what insane person gave her tha?!" proudly i say its me & my friend ALL I ASK2003 who is on this board, also.
[ps that wasnt meant to be concieted]
so just know that i LOVE meeting new people [even if its over the internet]
