I like these cats.  Very cool tunes.  I really love the tune that they do in AWTR.  It is in the most perfect place fir the story of the movie.

Thank you Kulp for jooking me up with another great band.  I will be fallowing these guys and seeing what they are up.  i hope that they come to Seattle.  Kevin and I will have to go and check them out LIVE!  That would Rule.

When we were tracking the tune, we were all like... I am not sure about the first take.  Then Jeff did another track and mixed them together and The rest of us and the Engineer were like... that kicks ass.

We just had a lot of fun making the demo with Barrett and Greg.

> We have another show on July 5th at Doc Maynards in Pioneer Square... Seattle.  We will be going on at 10pm.  There will be two other bands as well.  One of the bands is called the Speedles.  I think that they are a punk/metal cover band of the beatles.  I heard that  they are really good.

FIRST EVER PROTOCOL CONCERT
Just got back from seeing their first gig ever. A n00b band you would expect to have a lot of A/V problems, sound kinda halfassed, NOT THIS TIME! I was impressed! They had a good clean original sound, the frontman was excellent. He reminds me a lot of the lead singer of FUEL. Similar look, similar intensity.
I had a great time! I'd def go to more shows in the future!

And Aaron/iokane/Space, you rocked it hardcore on that bass!

Thank you very much Mista.  That really means a lot from you.  I am just really excited that you made it to the show.  Ifd you all need some demos got to www.musicsteps.com and look for The Protocol.  Todd will send a demo out to you the next day.  I think that they are only $5 or $6.

You can also go to www.theprotocolmusic.com and check the pix and other useless information about the band.

Thank you again for the props and I hope to see you next month or so for the next gig.  I do not have a date yet but, I will keep you posted.
