how many of these albums do y'all own?

I feel like Charlie from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory...they're going around the classroom, raising their hand and telling how many candy bars they ate, and they get to Charlie and he says..."two."
The teacher can't believe it, he thought Charlie meant two hundered...

I have
#94 Hotel Paper by Michelle Branch
#116 Riot Act  by Pearl Jam

hmmm, I've always thought that in Papa it was "nestled in you calculated moonshine" in stead of "emotion"  i have 2 different live recordings and i really think it's moonshine.  Is it just me?

I think you're right - moonshine

Did you try pushing "refresh" in your web browser?  The image in the upper left corner that says "Nessaholics.com Forums" should be decorated for Halloween.

oh right on, what episode are you on Brian?

I'm on disc 4, where Logan finally gets to spend some time out of the wheelchair.  I've been pretty good about spacing them out so far.

I guess I should take them again, but can you do that now that you're out of high school?

sure, they'll still let you take the SAT - it'll set you back $30 or whatever they charge though.

Introduce Yourself / intro
« on: October 19, 2003, 06:25:56 pm »
Hi guys,

I've been hanging out here for the better part of a year, but I've been keeping a low profile and trying not to attract too much attention to myself.  It looks like I'm here to stay though, so I want to introduce myself.

My name's Brian...I grew up in NJ, went to college in SC, and now I work in GA.  I just graduated back in May and I miss being in school, but my new job is pretty good, too.  I've really enjoyed listening to Vanessa's music over the last couple years and continue to look to her for motivation - she seems like a great role model.

See you around the boards...

really? where did they get it?

There was an episode of The X-Files (1st season, way back in 1993) where Mulder and Scully discovered that the government had created a group of bioengineered clones.  All the girls were named "Eve" and the 6th one was called "Eve6" - I guess the band thought it would be a good name.

sure I do wish to be accepted by people i respect and wish to befriend... however as for the common public?  I really don't care.

I agree, the desire to be accepted by people in a general sense goes away once you're out of high school - once you have the freedom to do your own thing, the only person you need to impress is yourself...and it's much easier to make yourself happy than everyone else...

the problem is, in high school you're forced to spend a large amount of time with people you would probably not associate with if you didn't have to...
