What would be nice is to see Vanessa in New York on the front cover and in London on the back. Nothing to do with rabbits though lol

Why do you have to create a new topic for this, since we're talking about that tweet in two different threads.

But yeah, I hope it's coming soon!

I think we need to crack the code  ;D She writes about the future then comes back to the present tense, that has to mean that something is to come, soon. She doesn't speak about recording the album which could tell she's done with that, and she already knows infos about the release format! Ballet. Just like in the Harmonium era when she got back to dancing.

new tweet !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what the hell is she saying? lol Is the album being released on viny?

Yeah you definitely HAVE to buy KT's other two soon to be three albums. Especially her non-studio album which actually sounds studio and isn't exactly live called "KT Tunstall's Acoustic Extravaganza".

I wouldn't expect a 2010 release for "Rabbits" but who knows... God I can't believe that in a few months (hopefully) will go through everything again, tracklist, interviews about the recording process, cover... :)

Hé sois pas mécontent de ton pays. L'herbe est TOUJOURS plus verte ailleurs moi j'dis. Je suis Suisse en passant.

Well, back on topic, in english!

Jérémy you are so awesome!!!! Thank you so much, it's like a real DVD.  :)

I love Vanessa even more after watching that. I hope she's still like that and will never change. She's genuinely talented and is an artist. She's everything but a star, I think she's a normal person (well better than the majority because she seems NICE) but has an incredible talent.

Thanks again Jérémy, by the way t'es français?

I'm also a KT Tunstall fan. Her third studio album is coming out in late september (early october in the US) and does not feature a Vanessa duet. She recorded it in Berlin. Also I was wondering if "Moneymaker" might be a KT song in which Vanessa did backup vocals but it's not on KT's album and I guess is a Vanessa track. Can't wait for that album, "Rabbits" will be awesome! I think that "Best Behavior" would be perfect in the album, well I think so, it goes well with "Bride" musically speaking.

"Harmonium" was never released in Europe (I live in Switzerland). I was a huge Vanessa fan and was waiting impatiently for Harmonium to be released back in the summer of 2004 then in november I went to the store and didn't see the album so I kinda forgot about Vanessa (I was 15 and didn't buy stuff on the internet) and then on february of 2005 I was in a really bad place in my life, my best friend almost died and was spending months which in the hospital, etc and I found by complete chance an Harmonium copy in a CD store (apparently someone ordered it then never came back to buy it) - it was su f-ing expensive but that was the first real album that I lived, and loved cause it was a part of me...It saved my life. Hmm, kinda random, but I really hope "Rabbits" will be another life-changing album just like "Harmonium" !

I think labels do lots of thing for the artist but the main thing is marketing. Then if you release your album independently you keep all the money but you're on your own and it must be very hard or impossible to get your songs on the radio. Since we haven't heard a Vanessa Carlton song on the radio since "White Houses" would it be that big a change?

Talking about the album being released outside the US, I think when you're on your own you won't be able to have the album in stores, fans around the world would have to buy it on the internet. Funny fact, "Harmonium" was never officially released in Europe but "Heroes & Thieves" was (and even before the US !), so The Inc. weren't that bad  :D

I'm not in the music industry, so everything could as well be wrong... lol except the the last line

Wow, Vanessa recording in Abbey Road? That's definitely the most famous record studio in the world. That's amazing for her career. I hope they'll put a sticker on the album saying "Recorded in the same studio as the Beatles' masterpieces"  ;D

Not sure that it means that she's now with EMI. For their last recordings The Beatles weren't with EMI anymore, but they were "The Beatles" so they could basically do whatever they wanted, Vanessa's just the chick from "A Thousand Miles" lol - even though she's so much more to us... :)

that made me laugh, it was on michelle branch's tweeter :

"didnt know you were a BI ? wow" (via @itsmi007) I'm not. That would be my doppelganger @vanessacarlton :)
