aww, all is well was so eloquently written. I really think that it could have brought alot to this album. Maybe not alot of color, but definitely alot of depth. Bummer!

just saw Nolita Fairytale on VH1 hot 20 countdown. It debuted this weekat number 11!!! pretty bad ass, since the new kanye west sng debuted at 10!!! keep voting guys it is working!!

Demi Moore showed up with her Lanvin designer pal Alber Elbaz at the tres exclusive Van Cleef and Arpels "Une Journee A Paris" party last in New York. Love Demi's Lanvin ivory silk embroidered frock accessorized by wood beads. But I'm far more intrigued by the adorable Alber's red ribbon bow tie and shiny golden shoes. Is it just me or does he look like a cartoon caricature of a fashion designer? And that's not a bad thing.
So who else was there?
In the chic set: a very dumpy Mischa Barton (let your hair down, girl!), a smokin' Lake Bell, a heading south Sarah Michelle Geller and a retro Vanessa Carlton in a groovy '60s fashion flashback white lace Granny Gown

haha well thank you guys.. Yeah i was a nh before i was REALLY into 3eb, then i heard that song, and it clicked with morning sting.. maybe vanessa responded in morning sting since i think "forget myself" was recorded first.

well being both a nessaholic and a third eye blind fan, that stanza means a whole lot more to me
in the third eye blind song "Forget myself" he refers to a girl in bloom..
"I go crazy when you walk in the room
I laugh at myself with the girl in bloom
The taste of sex couldn’t be too soon
all afternoon"
and also in "cant get away"
"And I’m taking off your clothes
And you bloom like a rose"
... and later in the song
"I recognize that pose
When you bloomed like a rose"
now any third eye blind fan knows that the majority of the material recorded on "Out of the Vein" had alot to do with SJ's breakup with Charlize Theron. I guess Vanessa had a response in "morning sting".. with
"Picture perfect
she'll follow his icy politic
can't cut a girl in bloom"
maybe, there is some correlation? Maybe vanessa was saying how she will never be charlize and almost feels like theres no use in trying to compete with her. So she continues to follow sj's regimen, accepting that she'll never be quite good enough. His politic is being so courteous and 'loving' while they both know how eachother really feels.
