thanks everyone!  it was a good day, minus my voice sounding like a complete man from allergies (my friend in french class went "back off barry white" haha) but what are ya gonna do?! lol

all the bday money is going towards prom, but maybe i can slip a few for shopping..tehe!

im going to the senior prom w/ my ex-boyfriend on may 21, and im going to my junior prom june 5th.

it wasnt my school..it was a school within our league in the capital region.


but i'm really glad it wasnt fatal, it could have been much worse, and the student shot twice and hit no one thankfully.   whats wrong with the world?

and lemme tell ya---its really scary when it hits close to home.

no one was severely injured, but a student walked into the school today carrying a shotgun, and supposedly came out of a bathroom with bullets in one hand, and the gun in the other.  he shot three times hitting a teacher.  my friends at that school are terrified and shooken up completely, one of which had bullet holes in the doorway to her classroom.  

the students are thankful that no one was killed, although interviews on the news  had students telling stories about the gun being pointed straight at them and ducking for their lives.

the teacher was released, and will be okay.  

you think of columbine, and how its so far away from you, but a school 20 minutes away from me, one of which i've been to for sports and such, its just scary.

please pray for everyone involved, and for the fact that no one ever again should be put into this situation.

just beware that people are capable of doing anything..good or bad  8O

yea, i had my 2nd grade religion class' first reconciliation tonight (i teach them  :lol: ) , and it is wickedly snowing outside.


we're only expection 10ish inches, but still, its piling up out there and my street hasnt been plowed yet, usually they're on that one faster than the speed of light.  but then again i dont mind the delay..maybe a delay tomorrow morning  :wink:
