Live Shows / Bummed

I am so bummed.  I've driven through several states, to attend Vanessa's shows, but the one time that she plays in my home state I miss it!  I could just die!  I was in Virginia Beach all this week and didn't know that she was going to be in Hanover.  I've driven over 4 hours to attend some of her shows, and she was 15 minutes away from my house.  Life is so unfair!  The funny part is when I met her in Vermont after her show at Higher Ground, I gave her a big ration of crap because she never played in New Hampshire, and now this happens.

I'm sure that if she manages to see your letter then she'll reply.  She really is the sweetest person to her fans.  I met her in Vermont, in fact got right in her tour bus, and she was really sweet to me.  She signed a bunch of my stuff and took pictures with me and my friend, and talked to us for a while.

As much as I don't agree with them saying that Vanessa was attacking Ashlee, I kind of hope that this article does get some press.  Any publicity is good publicity.

Did this show actually happen?  I was hoping that it did, because mine's tomorrow night.  I don't want to drive 3 hours just to hear that it was cancelled.

I'm dying waiting for Wednesday.  Even though I have to drive almost 3 hours to get to the show, I still don't care because I get to meet her in person right after the show!  I can't wait to meet her in person.

I think that website called me immature!  I'm like 12 years older than Vanessa and this is what it spit out for me.

Live Shows / 3/23/2005: Higher Ground - South Burlington, VT

I checked the Higher Ground website and it said all ages, plus the doors open at 7PM, and the show begins at 8PM.  I'm actually going to this show.  I won the charity eBay auction for this show that had 2 tickets, plus a meet and greet backstage with Vanessa.  I can't wait!  I was going to go to the show in Boston too, because I live in NH too, but I lost the auction for the Berklee tickets last minute when I wasn't paying attention.  So it was either the CT show, or VT, so I decided the VT show was the easier one to get too.  It is a bit of a drive, but I'm taking some time off of work, and driving up early the day of the show, and then staying overnight.  The cool part is the hotel that I'm staying in is like 2 minutes away from the show.  That was a huge bonus.  I'm also considering grabbing some tickets when she comes back through CT in April.  She's going to be playing two shows at Mohegan Sun.  Isn't that a dream?  A Vanessa Carlton concert and some gambling.  What could be better?
