Hey Katia! I sent your autographed CD out this morning. You'll get it in a couple days... keep me posted about when it gets there, ok?

No worries Laura - if I had the choice between "Wango Tango" and my show, I'm sure I'd choose "Wango Tango," hands down :wink: If you get down to San Diego, that'd definitely be awesome... I'll probably have another LA show in June or July as well. What part of SoCal do you live in?

Oh, and to answer your question Gingernut, I still have the vest. It's currently gathering dust in the corner of my closet. And I was only joking about putting it up on eBay. Although I admit, a quarter would come close to covering the actual price of that vest - I got it at a thrift store. So it was someone else's bad fashion decision before mine, lol.

Hmm. Nice work, Scotty. Although I must say, that's not really my shade. I was thinking perhaps something a bit darker. LOL.  :roll:

Anyway, I'll be glad to sign the CD for you Katia! Can't help you on the "kiss it with lipstick" part though... sorry bout that one.

As far as "Duets" goes, I think Anastacia did alright. I was told going in that they were actually looking for a girl, so I was pretty shocked to even make the final four! I chose "Pretty Baby" because at the time it was my favorite Vanessa song and it wasn't quite as well known as some of the others. I thought it would be cool to try something different

I was actually working as an intern at Interscope Records when "Harmonium" came out, so there was a lot of promotional stuff going on at the time. I was over in the music video department and helped ship out a bunch of copies of the "White Houses" music video to different places...  it was pretty cool!

Oh, and I'm glad you liked the "100 Years" video, Scotty! I had a total blast filming that, and getting to hang out with John Ondrasik and everyone. To answer your question, I was really playing the song on the piano; everyone in the cast were pro piano players in real life. I still keep in touch with some of them 'cause they were all so awesome

BTW, if anyone hasn't seen that video and wants to, it's on my website.

Aw, that's sweet of you Laura. Thanks so much for the support and happy early birthday to you! BTW, I noticed you're from SoCal... I always have shows around Hollywood, and I'd love it if you could come out sometime. It would be awesome to meet you I've actually played several shows with Elly K before, and we're planning to do some others in the near future. Awesome to see you guys have a topic devoted to her!

Unfortunately Scotty, I never got the chance to shop with Vanessa But just so you guys know, I retired the infamous vest for good. Maybe I should sell it on eBay! I could use the extra quarter, lol.

Hey guys,

Matt here. Like Laura said, I heard about this thread and have been meaning to stop by. Thanks so much for the support you guys! "Duets" was awesome and a lot of fun... glad you guys remember me from it. Although I think I acted like a pretty big dork on that show, to be honest with you, lol :roll:

BTW, Rogier... I just wanted to set the record straight: I can't cook. Like, barely even toast. And as far as I know, I haven't impregnated anyone yet. But hey, I wash a mean car! Five bucks if you wanna bring yours by  :wink:
