I love love LOVE the ending.  A lot.  And, the rest of the video is nice.

But, the removing of the skirt shot really creeps me out.

Hmm I don't see anything wrong with it, we all act a little stupid when we're by ourselves, this girl just happened to upload her alone time silliness on Youtube. Really I don't think she deserves to be labeled a freak or whatever, we don't know her personally and labeling someone on just a silly little video is just as immature as what this girl did. Nothing wrong with calling the vid stupid, but no need to call the creator any names.

I agree too.  Also, I don't think she sounds like she's 17.  She probably had to put that she was 16 or something when she initially signed up for a YouTube account, but she sounds quite a bit younger.  And, I will be the first to admit that I used to make my own "radio shows" complete with singing and "interviews" when I was between the ages of 8-12 or so.  They are fantastically embarrassing.

So, let the girl be.  We've all done weird things before.

My favorite part of the interview was where the host asked her what the "take away my record deal" line meant.  My fiance was watching with me, and we just looked at each other and started cracking up.

I would have loved it if Vanessa had kept a straight face and said "It means take away my record deal, go on, I don't need it."  Is there really that much subtext there?

well maybe noone else has this problem but the official site doesn't show  then a red background. How can i see everything?

I have that problem on my work computer which has an older version of Internet Explorer.  But, I can open it fine using Firefox at home.  Maybe you should update to the latest version of Internet Explorer?

"Nolita Fairytale" could be seen as her letting folks know she's back, I guess.

She really needs a bigger push though. If whoever's in charge is smart, they'll release "Hands On Me", make a kick-ass video, and promote the hell out of it by booking a shit load of TV appearances aswell as radio stuff.

They need to shoot the video for Hands On Me in Tibet. lol That'd be amazing.

It would rock! HANDS ON ME!!! HANDS ON ME!

Dude! That would be awesome if they shot the video in Tibet!  Or, at least have that type of feel to it.

I really hate Big Girl's Don't Cry, everytime I hear that song I just think of fat women crying and shoving their faces with cake going, "OMG. THIS IS MY SONG!"

I'm excited to see that the Amazon rank keeps going up.  I've been seeing a decent amount of promotional material, so hopefully it will have strong sales tomorrow!  I wonder if I could get it starting at midnight at some of the 24 hour superstores?

I heard Nolita Fairytale on the radio on our way to Youngstown.

sweet!! what main city is closer to you? I have not heard it by Chicago yet.

Um, I'm not sure what cities are close to Youngstown...maybe Cincinnatti? lol. I was just in the car, not paying attention. lol.

Cleveland is the closest major city to Youngstown.

And - I need to start listening to the radio again in the car so I can listen for it here in Columbus!

Although i wish her the best publicity for this album, i kind of just wish she doesnt go to far so everyone loves her, coz then she might forget about all of us who have been her fans not only coz of 1000 Miles.

I don't think she could ever forget us.  She's talked about us before in interviews... even if this album blows up and gets huge - she's always going to be thankful for those of us who support her no matter what.
