there are quite a few more that are up for auction right now.   check it out.  I have a feeling that the winning bids may not be as high as they were as the "heavy" hitters get a copy and stop competing to jack up the price.

It's a hidden track, which means it comes after She Floats, on the same track, but there's a lot of silence in between.

Does anyone know what the deal is with the "hidden track" called "The Wreckage"?  It is track #11 on this special CD.  Is it really an extra song that will not be included on the regular nov 9th release?  anybody know?

Waiting for 2 to 3 weeks for this cd to arrive is gonna really suck.

...maybe vanessa's label is trying to tell her, "careful what you wish for"...maybe she wanted too much creative control and to do it all her way (having stephen produce it)...so they are letting her feel a little of what it's like to not have full label support when you are "on your own"...the delay may be a little warning to her.

I am sure there are lots of good reasons, but in the end actions speak truer than words.

...but whaddo i know... :?

yea... I'd be majorly shocked if superhero turned up on the CD....
I STILL do not undertsand the fascination with that song!

I just have a soft place in my heart for it cause its the first quote unquote rare VC track I ever got.
It is a beautiful song, but doesnt fit who she is today.

well... what about everyone else?

...sure i understand if vanessa doesn't want to put superhero or any other old unreleaced song on the album... but i think she should...

I think she should re-make Little Mary.

Superhero is un-effing-believable!  One of my faves.  I would really really like to hear her play it live.  When she didn't play it on the tour last time in spite of a lot of demand that was a sign.  It was a different time in her life and as awesome as the piano and song is, I am guessing vanessa considers it so over.

about some of the demo songs.  I agree there are some pretty good ones and I guess Little Mary is one, along with Faces and Last Fall, but the one I like the best is Meggie Sue.  That one really was awesome, though I don't really know what the heck she was talking about (though I have a couple of ideas), but the quality of her voice and the piano, as simple as it was, was amazing, I could not get enough of it at first.  It was like BNN at first.  What is that about Vanessa and some of her songs.  Can someone 'xplain that to me?

Thanks to all of you, so far, for all the great stories and anecdotes, I can imagine it all, and can’t wait to hear more, see pix, and see the dvd.  So disappointed for all of you who couldn’t get there because of weather and stuff, but I am so glad that others like Gina made it.  Great picture of the group.  You all look awesome…really great…everyone.

And what the ish?...blueglove, (steve), I just gotta say…dude…I am impressed, I can see you had one helluva good time.  You played piano, Vanessa sang, she rubbed your back and unless I’m not seeing the picture quite right you’ve got your arm around her and have your hand planted pretty firmly on her shoulder.  is that right?  Now, don’t be shy or anything.  I think you will be remembering that day for a while.
