The album should be out in May, and they are definitely touring this year.  There's a rumor that they may play at Coachella in April, but we'll know tomorrow when the 70+ line-up is announced.

I just saw this thread, so I thought I'd respond.  Their new group is Foxboro Hot Tubs, and it's Green Day plus some other musicians.  The cd is awesome, and it came out in December of 2007 as a download.  They did a tiny club mini tour in May 2008, and it was amazing!

The show in New York is at the Fillmore.  Do you think the radio station made a mistake because of the NY venue?  You'd think the radio station would know what they're talking about, but I can't find any other info about Vanessa performing at the San Francisco show.

Michelle and Jess harmonize so beautifully together, I guess maybe you could compare them to the Dixie Chicks, but honestly, The Wreckers sound much better than the Dixie Chicks.  Go onto thewreckers.com, and you can hear several of their songs.  On their myspace, you can also see a video or two.  They are amazing together, and everyone should check them out!

The show last night was great!  Even though we had to drive to the middle of nowhere (Oroville, CA), it was well worth the drive.  Michelle and Jess sounded fantastic, and they sing so well together, that you have to watch them in person to see who is singing which lines of each song.  They were in great spirits, and seemed to have a blast on stage together.  They only sang for about an hour, but the hour was filled with great music sung by fabulous singers/songwriters.  After the show, the girls spent time on stage signing lots of autographs for everyone, and they were super sweet.  We can't wait to see them again, and we highly recommend that everyone go and catch one of The Wreckers' shows!!!!

Great to see you again Let!  Anna was wonderful in Sacramento--she sounded and looked great.  The people in the audience around us had no idea who she was (we set them straight), but we could hear them saying how talented Anna was (duh!).  I took a picture of Anna right as she slid across the stage--hopefully it will come out.  After Rob's set (boring), we met Anna for the second time.  She is one of the sweetest celebrities that we have ever met!  She is gracious and funny, and very sincere.
We can't wait for Oakland.  See you there Let!

To jjthefourth--I saw/heard Alan Smithee.  They didn't play on the main stage, but on a small wooden stage on the lawn/picnic area as you walk up to the consessions area to the left, after coming through the left entry of the pavillion.  They were really good, but I think that only one person was sitting and watching them.  If they had been on the main stage, then they would have gotten lots of exposure.  But we were quite impressed as we walked by to get to our seats to see Vanessa!

OK, so even though I work all day on my computer, I'm not very smart about computers, and I have 4 macs.  When I click on the links, all I see are letters that look like Greek.  I'm obviously doing something wrong.  Can someone help please?
