Live Shows / 7/29/2005: Santa Barbara Bowl - Santa Barbara, CA (review)

Out of all the concerts I've been to that one had to be the greatest. Vanessa was perfect. I got to here some old songs, and some of her new songs. Plus she ended with "Half a Week before the Winter" which is my favorite song off of Harmonium. I had good seats.
I enjoyed Stevie except for the ladies in front of me were rude and obnoxious. But I must say I enjoyed Vanessa more. She made me laugh, and I got chills listening to her play and sing. It was nice with just her and the piano.
I'm happy.

My friend got me listening to him. I like a lot of his songs, and there really good to listen to on a day where i don't feel like doing much except laying around and listening to music.

I love Veronica Mars, but almost none of my friend's watch it. I have one friend and every thursday morning we used to just start rambling on about the previous night's episode. I can't wait until next season!

General Vanessa Carlton Discussion / How was it?

I didn't get to see any of the concert because my drama teacher didn't show it. It was bad enough I had to sit there while everyone in my class made fun of the whole thing (including the teacher) and then I thought, "hey at least I get to hear some good songs" but as soon as the commercials before the concert were over it shut off. I was not happy about that.

I saw them in concert. They rocked. They were with Michelle Branch and Joe Firstman. I got like two feet away from Joe Firstman and he was buying stuff for fans. I was gonna ask him for a Rooney poster but i thought that was rude....So anyway, to make a long story short their concert rocks and so does their cd.
