General Vanessa Carlton Discussion / Name her next album

This is kind of unoriginal but how about "The One" since, she could be telling her label, her fans, the world, that this is the IT cd for her....the one where everyone is going to wake up (for those losers that haven't yet) and see how much talent she has.

Vanessa cracks me up the way she never really smiles in photos with other people in them. It makes me laugh to no end.

PYHOM is definately, at least for me, the best of the three.

Anyways, here's my attempt to clean up some of the noise in the songs. I've trimmed it to just the songs also.

Put Your Hands On Me

The One

This Time

Ok I've listened to the first two and The One is definitely my fav so far. It's very Eltonesque I think. I'm gonna love this new stuff...it's kinda different from Harmonium, actually a lot different. I love that about Vanessa....everything can be different but yet still great.....thanks for getting these songs!

VANESSA CARLTON
In February 2002, her debut single, "A Thousand Miles," hit the charts and its video was played on MTV. She has performed on Rosie O'Donnell, MTV's TRL, was named by Rolling Stone as one of ten artists to watch in 2002. In April 2002, she released her Grammy-nominated debut album, "Be Not Nobody." Carlton's second effort, "Harmonium," featuring the single "White Houses," was released in 2004.

THE YING YANG TWINS
Atlanta's party rap duo The Ying Yang Twins scored a hit with the single "Whistle While You Twurk," which received nationwide airplay on urban and crossover radio stations. Their full-length debut album, "Thug Walkin'," appeared later in 2000. The party anthem "Salt Shaker" was a massive club and radio hit and soon had the TVT label chasing the duo to sign. They have performed on Britney Spears' album, "In the Zone," and have collaborated with Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz on the hit single, "Get Low." In 2004, YYT released their new album, "My Brother & Me," with a bonus DVD of the group's videos.
