I've had success sending requests in care of the venues she's performed at. You just have to make sure it arrives there a couple of days before she's scheduled to appear.

General Vanessa Carlton Discussion / Mix 98.5 mentioned on air that I'm a huge fan of Vanessa's!!
« on: August 30, 2005, 11:23:17 am » Okay...I went on a Casino Cruise this past Friday night which was sponsored by Mix 98.5 and I met their afternoon DJ, Gregg Daniels. We were at the same card table for a couple of hands and we got to talking so I told him that I was a huge fan of Vanessa's and that they should play her more often (they only play "ATM" 2-3 times a week, but won't play anything else from her). So today, right after he started his shift he mentioned that he met me on the Cruise and that I'm a huge fan of Vanessa's and then went on to play "ATM". WWWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEE!!!

I made it there halfway through her set :cry: . I was under the impression that there was an opening act. I did get to catch the following songs from her set:
Wanted
She Floats
Annie
Rinse
Half a Week Before Winter
A Thousand Miles
Twilight
I'm so upset that I missed Private Radio!!! Oh well, she was signing autographs at Spin Street after the show and she actually remembered me from the Boston and Hartford shows. She told me she was glad I made it down there...
Thanks to Jayme for holding me seats up front, he'll have to fill everybody in on the first half of her set.
