@VanessaCarlton: New batch. Campbell is owning me. Cept for the not being in2 graffiti bit. Yawn on that http://t.co/8SSQpV0O

I love it when Vanessa posts about books, she is so well read. I already have Visions of Cody, and the Campbell book thanks to the recommendations of @Sarab, but the Phantom Tollbooth, according to the gospels of wiki, appears to be quite acclaimed. Is it particularly an America children's book?

I love how she keeps in touch with what she's reading, especially if it's a book I've never heard of before. And yes, Phantom Tollbooth is a children's book. I had to read it for my 3rd grade summer reading, but still, I guess you can still learn a lot from it at any age, depending on what you take from it.

Judging from what's previewed for the Carousel sheet music, I think it has the melody in with the piano bit.

Glad to know she likes music by Phoenix too. :L

I corrected Bride. (: It's now on the first post.

My next stop would either be DC or HTB.

Yay. :D
My left hand for DC sounds so awkward since I just play arpeggios...and I gave up on HTB.

Rinse: All I Ask
BNN: A Thousand Miles (I used to dislike this song quite a lot, but I have some good memories from Senior year with this...)
Harmonium: Papa or Who's to Say (Who's to Say is the song that made me actually start listening to her. Papa actually made me want to play her songs on the piano).
H&T: Home
ROTR: Dear California, London, or The Marching Line (I like DC simply because it's catchy and fun to sing along to. My piano arrangement of it sucks though. I just have this infatuation with London and The Marching Line...)

Completely Off-Topic / Re: That time of year again...

Hm... It's my first year of college, and although I already have college credit and I've been told that I'm ready, I'm still nervous. So, I'm like a combination of "blaaaaah" with "whoo college, time to go to upenn and get drunk or high." yeah.

I've finally started falling in love with this song. :) Anyone want to help me figuring out the chorus and the bridge for some sort of piano arrangement? ._.

Creative Endeavors / "Papa" Piano Cover

Some solicitor called halfway when I was recording Eyes on Me from FFVIII. So, I decided to record Papa instead since 1) I haven't played it in forever and 2) it's rather short. Enjoy?

A cover for Dear California shall soon be underway as well as a tutorial for Carousel.

I'm going to wait and see what people think about it. I'm excited for it though. :D

I'm glad that another one is up. Nicely done. :D

Isn't it Fairweather Friends, not Marching Line? Confused!!

No, it's The Marching Line. If you listen to it, it has the same melody as the part that's like, "Ships gonna take me at midnight," in the chorus.
