Here it is : http://www.mediafire.com/?zlee1bl8jubi9mo
That link was originally posted by Pushglow in the Live shows thread. All credits go to her or him of course.

Link's down - can anyone point me towards this?

I happen to love electronic music and I love Vanessa Carlton... so I'd be really curious to hear what the two combined would sound like.

It definitely feels much more home made than the others.

General Vanessa Carlton Discussion / ATM sampled in wine advert
« on: May 13, 2012, 02:46:20 pm »
There's an advert for a New Zealand wine, Brancott Estate, playing in the UK. It uses an instrumental version of A Thousand Miles.

Not sure if this has already been reported...

I was a bit later to the party so don't really know anyone here! Ten years, wow! Here's to many more!

Really glad to hear this. Bring it on!

Thanks for the tracks from Rinse. Did they come from a cassette?

Interlude (ATM) and Carnival had a lot of background hiss which drowned out some of the quieter piano stuff. I ran them through an audio NR system if anyone wants to hear a better quality version:

It'd be cool if we heard more about what's going on, but you know, she has no obligation to do that.

General Vanessa Carlton Discussion / Re: Asia getting ROTR with New Cover!

I will not rebuy the album to get the cool new cover...

and the HDCD sound quality (if I can hear a difference)...

Yeah right - give it a week! Thanks for posting :D

Wow. I didn't know it was possible to write that much crap about an album.

This style of writing's all too common on the web... this "cowabunga dude!" sneering.

Haha, aw! She makes me smile.

::) Its only a digital release and it sucks!!!

Damn... there's not even a CD?

Nice to hear more from her... but this is the first Vanessa Carlton release that I won't even be able to put on my shelf  :( Hopefully it's just since it's an EP and we won't have to put up with "virtual" releases of her next albums, whenever they come.
All true. I guess we should look at this as a DIY project then :D

I'm pretty sad about the lack of a CD as well; however, I feel quite certain that her future albums will have physical releases. :) Based on interviews and the ROTR packaging itself, V values them as well. I think this EP is only digital because it's something quite small, and not a large, complete project, like an album. If the EP were longer and an entity of its own, I feel there would be a physical copy.

On another note, this EP is getting my hopes up that V will release material more regularly. Though I've given up hope on some of her older songs being recorded (which I can understand--looking back at a piece of work you did years ago can be...unpleasant :D) , newer songs that don't make it onto albums might get studio recordings.

Are these the guys that faded her out when she sang "Ordinary Day" then came back after commercial and had her (visibly pissed off :D ) signing ATM?
