Hey all! I haven't been on here in a while... ya know, life.
Anyways, I was bored this morning and decided to write up some sheets for Blue Pool.
I only have the intro, but I've seen a lot of people on the forum waiting for someone to do it, so I figured I'd share.




ETA she likes to make up her own rhythms sometimes, I swear. So, to my knowledge the right hand is correct with those few random little notes in the lower octave lol.

I really want the sheets for River! The live version has more piano, so I was hoping someone would create it from that.

This is what I have so far... Kind of just did this in one night.. this was before the album version of anything had come out and I was relying on live recordings last summer.. It's just the beginning.. I have zero idea why I'm still struggling with the chorus?? lol

Okay guys, I'm really nervous about this show... I've been reading about past shows this tour and of course people have an amazing time, I mean it's Vanessa. But I've also seen that she makes these little comments here and there that can come off bitter? And any time she posts a video to one of her pages about the upcoming dates she seems absolutely exhausted and miserable.. Is she just tired from motherhood or is she just not looking forward to touring anymore? I'm really excited for this show, but also really nervous because this will be my first time, and maybe only time, meeting my idol who I've looked up to for 10+ years, I don't want to get my dreams shattered.. Am I just overanalyzing things?

well... her response to him was like ones she gives fans.. brief "yes" "No" "<3" or "x"  so not that she's not happy but.. she didn't get overly excited.

I've gotten the "x" LOL 

(it's still more acknowledgment than most celebs give their fans on twitter, so I'll take it haha)

oh gosh, yes I agree, anything is better than nothing.. but she has responded to others/her friends with a little bit more than that, but actually not too much even then!

I've saved all my screenshots from when she's responded to me. She actually takes time out of her day to write back to us, it just feels so good. I've gotten more than just an "x" too! lol. I posted about getting a record player solely for the release of her album and that I couldn't wait, and she said "Get ready girl x", another time a few months ago I mentioned how after listening to Fairweather Friends, Carousel and now River how much she really likes that seesaw pattern (she mentioned this in a tutorial video for Carousel) and she replied "totes". I still freak out any time she responds to me.... haha!

Yes, please post a video! If you post one from overhead and play slightly slower I can write out the rest of these sheets I'm glad this helped get you started though!

This is as far as I've gotten. Obviously we know the beginning repeats a little bit.
As far as the chorus, "the river flows, it takes ahold.." I'm pretty sure that's what it is, but I'd love some feedback from people. Maybe we can work on this together

Okay so I just wrote this really long post describing my trip, but I accidentally deleted it when trying to post my pictures from my trip.. I'll try again!
So I just got back from NY last night. I didn't get to spend extra time in Nolita, but I got to go to Little Italy. Little Italy was awesome, the people were very friendly, and very Italian..
I wrote this already, but Nolita really is like a fairytale. I got off the subway near Broadway and Spring Street (I'm pretty sure those are the ones that cross..) and walked down Spring Street to Nolita. Once you get to Nolita everything is calmer and quieter, so much quieter, it's odd. Cute little shops and a lot of small little restaurants.. The people are friendly and it's very pretty there. I sat at some bench on Mulberry and Spring Street (at least I'm pretty sure that's where I was) and took it all in. I tweeted to V, don't know if she saw it, but I get the fairytale now, and thanked her for exposing me to it. I didn't get to go to Ruby's, which I was really disappointed about. And I didn't get to go to the graveyard that isn't on Elizabeth, haha! But I know what she was talking about.
I would definitely move there if I could. Very quiet and calm and truly beautiful. I get it now.
Oh, also, I only have 3 more pictures from my phone of Nolita, but I took a roll of film in my Canon AE-1 and got some awesome pictures of Nolita and Little Italy. I'll post them when I can
So what did you all think of Nolita if you've been? I saw some of the replies on here already!

Nolita really is like a fairytale. I'm so glad I hung out there for a little while. Couldn't find the shots from the music video, but I'll go again tomorrow probably. Enjoy this picture of Spring Street in NoLita
