Hey thanks CheapandEvilgrl and Jason!!

Yeah, I'm not too shy and I am not afraid to meet new people.  By the way, Guinness is pretty yummy :)

And yes, Love sucks.  Even if you love someone, it can still suck if you can't be with them.

Alright nikkee,

Here's a question for you.  Whats up with your signature?

From the sound of it, it doesn't sound good.  And from what I've already learned, you're a pretty easy going person.

I've got more reading to do .

I usually call her Honey

But according to my Screenname... could you blame me for choosing that one?

Yes, I know Kazaa lables are lame.  The only good thing that kazaa is used for is downloading underground racing movies .  but as I previously stated, I didn't find it on Kazaa, I found it on someone's FTP folder (which they probably got from kazaa anyway).  But thanks for the clairification Trish.

My hunt continues for Afterglow and Birdie though.  I just wanna hear them.

Someone asked "How do you know they're around here somewhere?"  Simple question, and this needs a simple answer.  EVERYTHING you ever wanted to know is on the internet.  Scary enough, I once found blueprints and detailed instructions to make a low yeild (2 Megaton) nuclear weapon.  Now, if such a devistating device can be explained in detail and put on the net, wouldnt a simple 3 Meg song be accessable somewhere as well?  The answers are out there, and they will find you if you want them to.

And just to add something in the mix.  I have a dedicated 80 Meg Hard Drive soly to MP3's.  It's about half full at the moment, racking up over 12,000 MP3's, at well over 600 hours of constant music.  More than 25 days of music without repeating a single song.  Not to mention the 400 CD's I have too .  I guess I have a chemical disorder; who could ever listen to that much?

You can also learn a lot about people on the net too.  nikkee kinda sparked my interest (only because she has the most posts here), so I went looking for info.  Found out some interesting stuff that was still on (burried) the VCMB.  I know know why nikkee is so popular:

With that many posts... it's no wonder why everyone knew her.    I have a lot of reading to do.  Does this look familular?

Listening to it right now from a co worker... I think I'm gonna have to buy that CD.  But I would have to say that "Poem" is by far the best song on there .  Not to mention the video is pretty cool too.

eh, silly kazaa.. i just downloaded it and it sounds nothing like Vanessa :P

we need tricia, she is the MB expert but I know that isn't VC :)

Interesting you mentioned Kazaa, because I found that song through an FTP search program, not a P2P program like Kazaa, or eDonkey.

nikkee,
It's just a screenname.  The name means nothing about who I am in the real world.  Thats just a fantasy of mine.

No offence intended nikkee, but the only word I can use to adaquatally describe your overbeaing inthatuation with this band is "Obession".  Dont get me wrong, I like the band, Brian is pretty cool, but there is a point where it gets to be too much.  Example: I'll bet you not only know every one of their birthdays, but their families birthdays as well.  I wouldnt be surprised if you knew where they all lived too   .

nessa covered rolling stone's paint it black.

Yes, I know she covered that song, I do have the cd, What kind of fan would I be if I didnt have hte cd?  But this cover is just a tad different.  It sounds like Vanessa; but it's Michelle Branch's song "In Love With You"??  The thing I dont get, is why would Michelle do this song with a piano?  Hmmm.  8O

And why would I want to hear these songs?  Strange question.  Why wouldnt I want to hear them?  I love music, plain and simple.

not to mention the database with 10k users feeds many forums all supplied by fullashit err fullerene...

so i think probably 2k are maybe VC fans (Eminem has the same fullerene board) and of the 2k, probably most are duplicate names like Joey said :)

btw, welcome!  If you have time you might want to check out the faq and rules... it has some info about what we do and why we're here if you haven't already... and why some people are green, dark blue and light blue!

cheers and happy posting

Just finished reading it ;)  Thanks.  I would like to retract that question now :).  I've been reading these things all day (slow day at work).  I seem to be learning a lot more. ;)

exactly.

when the VC.com boards only have 401 members it was nice, and besides a lot of 10k are people with 10 screen names.

If that were the case, there would only be a thousand people on that board, and it would still be nice.  I dont think I've ever seen it with less than 10 thousand users.  Oh well, I guess I jumped on the band wagon too late huh?  Did all of you transfer from the offical board to this one?
