Nolita Fairytale- What's better than V finding a fairytale in her own neighborhood... unicorns, Rapunzel, and spiders Oh My!

It's a link to a mediabase and allaccess update of their Hot AC chart. HOM has five new adds, and is number 4 out of the top 10 taking off songs with 59 new spins!  I'm going to be requesting it to try and get it some more spins for next week.

If you look at the album info of H&T at the bottom you can see the popularity of each song on the album....Obviously first is Nolita Fairytale, second is Heroes & Thieves which is probably because it shares the title of the album, third is Hands On Me, fourth is Come Undone, and fifth is The One which only barely beats My Best, Fools Like Me, and Home.

I thinit's just another small sign that HOM would do well as the second single.

The sticker on the wrapped album says, "Featuring the hits- Nolita Fairytale, Home, & The One featuring Stevie Nicks"

Do you think this means that they are planning on releasing The One as a single? I knew that Home was being considered through all of the magazine and online articles and I think it's a good choice but I've never thought about The One being released. It makes sense because I think the fact that Stevie Nicks is featured on it would get it more hype but I don't know what to think yet.

I know that the album hasn't come out yet but when it does you can choose what song you would like for the second single.  

Until then you can choose one of the songs we've heard live or judge from what you've heard about the song and then you can see if you've changed your mind after you acually get to hear the whole record.

I voted Home but Hands On Me is an extremely close second!

I came across some guy's review of six songs that he says will be on Heores and Thieves. The songs he previewed were Nolita Fairytale, Hands On Me, Heroes And Thieves, This Time, My Best, and Thinking About You. Only NF, HAT, and TAU were in their mastered forms though. He said he will be putting up an accoustic version of Hands On Me soon too. I have no idea if this is true or not or if This Time and Thinking About You will be on the album or even if Thinking About You is a real song. Guess we'll have to wait until Oct to find out but here's the link...

Anyone one else notice that lately there's been a lot of new people popping up on the o-board? There hasn't even been all that much hype for the new album yet (of course for us but I mean for everyone else). I was looking for some pictures of V for this thing when I stumbled across a little snippet of a song by V called Just The Thing... it is DEFINATLEY her singing it and it sounds a lot like Private Radio.... the site says that it is from 2002 and it sounds like the vocals V used on BNN.... Wonder if it was really a whole song( maybe it is the first version of Private Radio?) Anyway, I think it sounds cool and here's the link.... it's at the very top...

So for the new album SJ is producing some songs and Linda Perry is too.... Sam and Natalie also mentioned a third person producing (according to their friend)

I was wondering... is Irv going to produce some of her songs? In the Mtv interview at the Canal Room Irv said when he first met V he was hesitant to sign her so he offered her some production help.

All right, to date we have heard the titles of 9 new songs post-Harmonium and heard recordings of 6.... I wonder how many of these will be on the new album.... maybe we'll get 14 or 15 songs this time
