Creative Endeavors / My first attempt at creating an animated gif

It's in my signature. It's my first real attempt at creating an animated gif. Granted, it looks a little rubbish but i'm still adding and editing different features to it. It's slow to begin with but it gets faster after the first round.

This alone took me a good two hours because I had to change the different sizes from the video I ripped and edited, as well as setting transparency etc. The program i'm using [uLEAD Gif] doesn't allow you to change the properties of more than 1 frame, which is probably why it took so long. Either that, or I haven't worked out how to yet. The more I get used to it, the easier i'll find it. I'm just lacking in creativity to create something visually appealing.

It's unlikely that anyone would respond [seeing as no one does when I make a thread about an artist...] but does anyone like Les Paul & Mary Ford or Chet Atkins? They're more of an artist that a guitar player would be interested in [i'm a guitar player] but whatever.

Does anyone here play violin and can you give me any recommendations as to which Violin is suitable for a beginner? I've done some research and i've found some really cheap violins that are "beginner" standard starting from prices as low as £50. However, there's got to be a catch. Being a long-time guitar player I know instrument prices as low as that come with major faults such as an inferior coating which drastically reduces a genuine guitar tone.

I'm looking for a good starting out violin with a budget of around £200. Would the make Andreas suffice?

I'm a huge fiddle fan and I always wanted to play violin. This is my chance.

I'm beginning to think that these topics are synonymous with each other if you exclude the main purpose of the thread, which is now outdated [I wrote it as a way of informing that Heroes and Thieves had been leaked]. Since being leaked, Nessaholics have been using that as a discussion place for Heroes and Thieves, the record.

Would it be alright to request a merge - and a change of title of the thread. I think it needs a bit of a tidy up.

I got my Youtube Channel permanently disabled along with all my Vanessa Carlton videos due to infringement :cry:. Dammit. I suppose I had it coming. I've set up a new account: NessasUnicorn but I don't think i'm going to upload any Nessa stuff otherwise the channel will be disabled again.

Read the comments about the segment beginning 4:10. I thought that too. I wasn't too sure what this track was. At first I thought it was either Private Radio or Annie and that it's just hard to hear (even if it isn't, it still works out pretty good).

Now, i'm very aware that most people are into other sorts of music - just not country. Well, Brad Paisley is and before you say you hate I want you to give it a try. As a guitar player, this guy has been a huge influence on me and it's only recently happened - possibly a year ago but he's so phenomenal as a guitar player, it's unbelievable.
