I'm really upset they replaced this song, the emotional tie in is very strong.
I really enjoy this song, his vocals are very good and I kinda think of him as the male version of Vanessa. He's an excellent song writer, lots of piano and string based songs, actually talented...

Rite Aid, like most chain stores, plays the exact same thing through all their stores across the nation and today while I was shopping I heard the distinct "na na na na na na na" or however many na's haha...And I was so happy to hear it was SPRING STREET. This is a good sign because often labels push songs to store "radios" before actually releasing them. Such is the case with Daughtry's single "Feels Like Tonight." Which started playing in Rite Aid, Walgreens, Walmart, and many other chain stores before about 6 months before it went to radio.

This is Hot AC. The only other format playing it, CHR/POP has it with 3 spins this week, 4 last week.
38 43 VANESSA CARLTON Hands On Me 223 231 -8 0.346
It's dropped from #38 this time last week to #43. Had 231 spins this time last week, has 223 now. That's a lose of 8.
Not a good sign at all. No new stations are starting on it, only 17 stations are playing it (THERES ABOUT 111 STATIONS MONITORED ON THAT FORMAT), 8 of those have declined her spins, 5 have kept the same number of spins, and 4 have increased her spins.

Hands down, winning me over in the auditions, I was looking around to find any of his previous work.
The kid at one point had "vocal paralysis" so he's got this sort of underdog story for AI. You'd never know from hearing him (his audition: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRZps_AEMpU )

In a really weird twist after she was getting piles of stations adding and jumping to a quick bullet over 100, she's down to ONLY +8.

She's actually lost spins overnight (just 2), but that's a really, really bad sign.
I recommend you start cranking out the requests...because this song could be done before the video even surfaces.

Vanessa's rocketed into the top 100 on Hot AC thanks to 21 spins from Salt Lake City's KUDD-FM. The station has been very kind to Vanessa leading spins on almost all of her singles.
The song is still pre-adds date. Going for adds on HAC this coming week monday/tuesday. And doesn't go to CHR/POP until Mid february and it has 0 spins there.
Here's a free stream of how you'll hear it on the radio. The edit doesn't have "2, 3, 4.." at the begining and is only SLIGHTLY sped up, thank goodness.

Vanessa's "Nolita Fairytale" has reached it's highest spot yet at #119 on iTunes overall chart. She's up to #30 on the iTunes POP chart.
All of this is better than she reached when the song was first put on iTunes. So, if you only bought the album, go download the single off iTunes. This will help her radio plays as well as getting more exposure if she gets into the top 100 on iTunes.
