On her second album, Vanessa, 23, unveils an edgy goth side, singing about insomnia, suicide, and paranoia.  There's only one love song on the album-think that's a reflection of her, um, odd relationship with Third Eye Blind's 40-year-old frontman, Stephan Jenkins?





YM always bashes V and Stephan.
But at least they featured her in the mag.

Can I just say how much I love this board? It wasn't until today that I realized how nice it is here.

So I signed up for the Gavin boards way back in December but forgot I did and enver chatted on there. Yesterday was my first official post and they denyed me! hah

It's like, they dont accept "newbies" so they are harsh. Im sorry I havent been a fan since...who knows when? But at least i am one now. They are getting peeved that Gavin is getting more and mroe fans.. i dont think they realize its a good thing.

so i made a homemade hat that said "i love Gavin" and drew his pic on it.  now they hate me because they hate "teenyboppers." okkkk even though i did that as a joke? lol

wow- i love you guys  :D

Im auditioning today for an "elite" singing group at my school. My teacher jsut asked me today to come for call backs and i never even tryed out to begin with! haha but I need a song to sing for auditions....Yeah- its in 2 hours? haha ill put something together.

anyone know of any good songs to try out with? (im an alto 1)

i had recorded it on t.v., but my brother taped over it.  :x

I was watching MTV2 You Hear it First and on came this video for this girl named Rachael Yamagacha. They only showed a little bit, but from what i sad it was awesome! But after searching for info on her, I found NOTHING. Anyone else hear of her?

So, this may seem like a silly question, but did V ever date John Mayer? My friend comes up to me yesterday and was like, "Vanessa Carlton dated John Mayer, did you know that?" and then she showed me an article...but i thought they never dated. Could someone please verify this for me? Thanks

Remember that book? Ok, I do. lol

So I made the varsity soccer team for my school, great accomplishment...even better is that I'm starting for the team and playing the whole game.

The bad part? Last saturday at my soccer game I tore my achilles. That sucks now because I'm out of the season...at least for this year. Ahh...just as I was ranking high on the state's leader boards. Go figure.

Life gives you a fast ball, you gotta learn how to adjust to it.

So that's all, just thought I'd rant to you's because right now, the day has not been great.
