Hands
What would it take to make my hands like hers
The power she wields over him
His world turns over
He’s putty in her hands
She doesn’t know the strength she has
She’s innocent to the love he feels
He’s not the same boy he once was
The girl with the song makes his mind reel
He wants to feel her hands on his skin
He dreams of how the heat would feel
Soft, hard, smooth, calloused
Her knowing hands knowing him all over
My hands are not as strong as hers
My hands have no power over him
I long to touch and feel his body
To make him wise to the love I feel
You will see her make her music
Feel her hands, and then her lips
Yet you are unaware of the love she feels
Unknowingly the subject of her song
Will it ever be my turn
Someone’s hands wanting me
Oblivious to the love felt
Real emotions unmasked
