Timeline.  :D Good movie, and great idea. I haven't read the book (by Michael Crichton), but the basic plot is pretty cool. Five students must go back in time to the year 1357 to rescue their professor. They only have 6 hours to bring him back. Sounds pretty easy, right? Well first they have to find him, and then they have to avoid getting stuck in the middle of a 100 year war between France and England. Overall it was pretty good. I'd give it a 7 out of 10.

I just saw "The Day After Tomorrow" yesterday, and really liked it. The best part about the movie was the special effects of course, like the twisters in California, or the huge wave sweeping over New York. The storyline was pretty good, and it had some good character development. The downside is that the movie is mostly fictional. Alot of what goes on in the movie is plausible, but the time frame in which it happens isn't. For a better review, check out this article on the USA Today website.

Wow, it's been so long since I last posted here. Anyway, I just wanted to update you all on my new website (http://www.ian-hudson.com). It has a few of my compositions on there as well as a little background. It also has pictures from my trip to Puerto Rico with my college choir. Check it out!  :D

Billy Joel Rocks! I love "Lullaby", "And So It Goes", "Downeaster Alexa", and "Pressure". My choir is actually doing "Lullaby" this semester, and I've heard a choral version of "And So It Goes". It's really good.

black is not a color

lol (I have issues)

That's white you're thinking of, Christine. White is the absense of color, and black is all the colors combined. You're right, you do have issues, but that's okay. We love you anyway.

Hi Ian, what are you talking about?  If it's a VC picture it should be in the Vanessa picture thread.  i'm locking this thread, sorry if it's premature.  -katia

p.s. you should scale down your sig... it's to big for the sig size limit rule thingy.

This is one of my best compositions. It's a combination of an improvisation and a compostion, because it kind of has a theme to it, but alot of it is just made up on the spot (please disregard any mistakes you may hear). If you want to hear more, just send me an email and I'll gladly send you more. Thanks to Abhijit for posting my song.
