Hey y'all,

I'm impressed to see that this place still exists and has been recently active.

I was one of the ones who posted the studio clip of Best Behavior when we went and hung out with Vanessa in the studio while she was recording Heroes & Thieves. I don't have the clip anymore, and was wondering if anyone was still around who still has it? All the links I've found are dead; that was a lawless time, of temporary download links lol. Anyway, I was just thinking about it yesterday and figured I'd give it a shot.

And if you were around then & remember me: hi! and also, yes, my name and pronouns have changed.

Thanks in advance!

I went to the San Diego show, and she was delightful and hilarious. She may be tired, but she doesn't show it on stage. I went to the Solana Beach show 2 Novembers ago or whatever, and she was miserable. Understandably so, because she had just had to cancel all of those shows before it. Go to the show. It was beautiful and she seemed really happy.

that's all you got out of that review? that was one step away from trashing her entirely.

so far i do, but i like Get Good too. i'm wondering what the relationship is between the songs, based on the question you asked? Dear California is the only song i've found a chord thread for, but if you've done chords for more songs, i would greatly appreciate you pointing them out.

Thanks again.

i wouldn't put them with power pop necessarily.. actually, that's a good question.. back in the days of insomniac, i'd probably called them punk rock (not punk.. punk rock. there's a difference. imo). these days... it's rock, but it's also pretty pop.. rock pop if you will. (not pop rock).

anyway.. i think i heard they're putting out a new album sometime in the near future? i don't really know.

but, they did release an album under a different band name: Foxboro Hot Tubs. it's kind of like punk with a mix of like.. i don't know.. 50's rock and roll or something? i don't know. interesting stuff though.

don't ask me why i know all that...

what i really want to hear is that studio "all is well" & "best behavior"!

I have the studio version of "All Is Well".

since when was that floating around?

:] if you're not kidding, please share!

... no, seriously. You care about an artist because you like their music or believe in their message, not because you think one day they will be insanely famous. At least that's how I roll.

word.

Hey guys, just wanted to let everyone know: Third Eye Blind is releasing their Red Star E.P. digitally, this Tuesday (Nov. 18 )! This will be the first music that's been officially released by the band in over 5 years!

It will be available on itunes and amazon. It features the songs, "Non-Dairy Creamer," "Red Star," and Why Can't You Be," and is apparently going to include a "Making of" video documentary.

Amazon link: http://www.amazon.com/Red-Star/dp/B001L2GJY2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dmusic&qid=1226843149&sr=8-1

You can also stream the entire E.P. right now, on their myspace!

Can't wait for this E.P. on Tuesday, and I can't wait til the album, Ursa Major comes out in the spring! Enjoy! :)

Wow.  My idea of a tour is a little different.  She did 11 cities on the Haunted Tour and I believe 1 or 2 got canceled last minute(USA)...it was like less than two weeks...and the tour with Joshua was equally as short, and she wasn't the headlining act.....Although I am glad she did play all those shows..I don't believe she played on this record enough...regardless of sales if you believe in something your supposed to play it as much as possible, and keep at it...the way she did with harmonium.  shes lost interest because of other possibilities with her music....it's obvious.  she doesn't want to play for 'strangers' anymore..she wants to score films.

i agree
