General Vanessa Carlton Discussion / Re: New Official Website

^ I totally agree. If they don't have that stuff up by the time Carousel is out I'll be very, very surprised with Razor & Tie.

So, considering Hear The Bells is described as "ambient and creepy" I think it's pretty safe to say that's the song in the beginning and end of the video on V's website. Also, I'm sooooooooo glad Carousel's the album opener and not London!!! I love London but it would not make a good opener, lol.

Wow, she's NEVER had an album cover without her picture on it before! This album really is going to be massively different for her in all possible ways! But I love it, I think it's so beautiful and elegant.

I know this is really random, but I was listening to the new live version of this song (which I LOVE btw) along with the lyrics, and I just have one little insignificant correction: I'm pretty sure the vodka line is: "Pour the vodka, and it dulls sharp lies."

actually it's fights.

lol  :)

Really? Damn, I really liked the sharp lies line too.

I'm still using the original lyrics. They were the best, in my opinion. D; "Dulls sharp knives" sounds more poetic than lies. Much more figurative. xD

Ehh, nope.

It sounds like the fans who were hoping for something more stripped down are going to be very happy. Gah, is it May 3rd yet??? It's so gorgeous!!!

This is definitely going to be her least commercial album yet.

A big thumbs up to Razor & Tie for being on their game, is all I have to say! MAY 3RD IS SO FREAKIN' CLOSE TOO!!!

Those pictures are to die for. Every era is better than the last.

I have an MP3 recorder, but I'm not sure it works too well. Plus I'm beginning to suspect there really isn't a new song on this station. I've been listening all this time and still nothing.

I've been listening to this station hoping to hear the song (which I suspect is Carousel.) Nothing yet, but I'll sit here all night if that's what it takes. I'm not missing this opportunity.

I really wouldn't have cared what song was chosen, I'm just excited to hear a finished studio version of one of the songs! Here's hoping we get it by the end of April, at least!!!
