There's no way I'll be able to wait. I listened to H&T when it leaked and it was the most magical moment of my life, lol. I'm betting ROTR will be even better. I'll buy multiple copies of the album when it comes out to assuage my conscience.

So I FINALLY got around to watching that video if Stevie's performance with V. How sweet was Stevie's intro??? I wanted to hug her myself. Although I'm SO JEALOUS she gets to listen to the album already and we don't! Argh. But anyway, I definitely heard "is the owl casting spells that we're under?" the second time, not so sure about the first.

My first reaction was: "June? JUNE?!!!"

My second: "Yay! Rabbits on the Run will be my summer soundtrack!" LOL. I'm just happy we finally have a release date and that it's coming within a matter of months for sure.

I'm going to guess Monday 18th April as the release date.

Well, considering most albums come out on Tuesdays in America, I'm going to one up you and say Tuesday, April 19th.

Does anybody else think her voice sounds much different?  When I heard the first song in the beginning, I thought, "Why're they playing some other person's song in Vanessa's video?"  I guess it's actually her?  Is she just using more head voice than chest voice?

But in the IDWBB clip, it sounded pretty much like the Vanessa I know (which, btw, was absolutely gorgeous).  Hmmmm.

Yeah, she's definitely experimenting with her voice on this album. Which I personally think is awesome.

A little interesting tidbit I found out: Steve, the guy Vanessa mentioned who produced stuff for one of her favorite bands, Doves, and who also seems to be producing ROTR, produced KT Tunstall's last album. His full name is Steve Osbourne. So everything kinda makes sense now, seeing as how a while back V mentioned KT. I don't know, I thought it was interesting.

OMG @ the whole thing. I was okay until I heard the studio version of I Don't Want to Be a Bride. Then the children's choir came in, and the piano and drums and V's voice over top, and I just had tears streaming down my face. STREAMING. Then when the whole video was over I just kinda put my face in my hands and sobbed.

I AM SUCH A LOSER. But this album just sounds so magnificent, so transcendant, words can't explain.

I heard a snippet of"Moneymaker". I only remember:

Shake ya money maker
Shake what mama gave ya

Kidding!

But yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if she left it off. We all thought "All Is Well" + "Best Behavior" would be on 'Heroes' and some people had a near heart attack when they didn't see them on there.

Off topic, but remember when she wanted "My Best" as the lead single too?

She's known to change things.

Then again it's not official, but ya never know

It might be on there, just under a different name. She's been known to change titles from time to time.

Yeah, me too?! LOL. I'm kinda going crazy right now knowing there's a tracklisting out there that the management didn't want made public. That says something, in my opinion.
