I'm ridiculously proud of her right now.

I'm so impressed.On first listen, 'Home' and 'More than this' are definatley the standout tracks.

Seriously, I love the cd. It's difficult to pick a song to listen to because the whole thing just rocks.

The problem with the strings on HoM is that either a) they used a terrible synth string program, or b) the strings are out of tune. The highs sound very tinny, also.

The strings are TWANGY. I think it was done on purpose because of her reference to the Dalai Lama, it has that ethnic quality to it. It was done on purpose......did anyone else notice that?

Good interpretation but if it was done because of that, I think they ruined it.

They didn't ruin it. The song is fucking amazing.

The only song I don't particularly care for is "This Time".

I think each song on Heroes & Thieves sounds very commercial. Every song sounds like it could be a single you know? That's why I'm still deciding about it. It's all very good....almost too good. I wonder what some of the reviews will sound like?

eek am i the only one who doesnt like the one? what's with that weird voice under the melody that sounds so flat? my god. in my version of the album that harmonising voice is as loud as the melody! i hope its softer in the original. other than that im actually quite loving this album...

i love it, the beginning is almost haunty.

Does some of the drums on the tracks sound similar to the type of drums the postal service and other electronic bands use? or am i just crazy?

deep, if you dont mind me saying! no offence to her diehard fans.

well I have already bought the album. Albums are so much more then just the music! I wanna see the leaflet and besides I wanna support V!  

I like it. Stevie rocks.

The album sounds bright. I think the piano is a brighter piano than the one she generally uses.
I can definitely hear the influence of Stevie Nicks.....if you have heard Stevie's latest album, there are similarities......

Yeah, I wrote a long post about the feel of this album, but it got shafted and ended up being the last post on page 9. I hate it when that happens.

This album's very light hearted in tone, very bright and poppy.

Totally! I feel like going to the park and just dancing around.....I feel so peppy right now....haha.
I almost feel a country vibe on it too....especially come undone.....I feel so happy right now.
