Live Shows / Re: 4/18/12 - Webster Hall - NYC
« on: July 31, 2012, 02:29:42 am »
Hi, guys! Was watching the live stream again and I thought if we can convert the whole thing and make it like an EP for us of some sorts. It would be something like 'Live from Webster Hall'. I got the inspiration form a http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/itunes-live-from-soho/id417036928.

anyone can help out? I dont know much about this kind of stuff, so I am hoping that some of you can help out!

Hey! Someone actually uploaded the extracted audio, so I ran it through GarageBand and split up the tracks awhile back. Hope this is alright: http://www.mediafire.com/?474vz79811h3a4h

Didn't she get fired from a Disney event? This photo look grand; wish I could see her.

The shots of her in the orange dress are STUNNING. But I have to admit, me being a dance snob and all, when the videos of her doing the fouette turns, I was kinda cringing. Her passé was never connected…and it's like…come on V…you went to ABT.

I believe she was quite young at that point. I'm sure it was definitely corrected eventually, but at that age, it's hard to have complete kinesthesia.

If it interests anyone, I've cut up the Webster Hall file into their respective songs and sortof remastered the show via GarageBand.

Now THIS is a wooden horse I could get with. http://yfrog.com/kg63daoyj

I mean, I'm glad to know of her interest in wooden horses, but I really want to see the Bells video or at least have an update on it.

In all honesty, those bands have their own respective followings, largely because they're indie groups. Perhaps her new electronic project will generate new types of fans, while still managing to keep her old ones.

Nice little review. Now we know the new record will be leaning towards an electronic, dance-pop record. I'm hoping it'll be more like some of the stuff she's been posting, i.e., Youth Lagoon, Washed Out.

Favorite tidbit of the interview:

So where exactly does Carlton see herself 30 years from now? She said she hopes she’ll be a “crazy old pottery teacher composer living in the Redwood forest.”
