Wow, seems like I've missed a lot over the Christmas holiday...

Also, someone's tweeted Vanessa asking her if the leaked cover is for the album, with the picture with the typewriter font, and she just responded 'nope', so I'm guessing she knows now that it's out there somewhere, even if she didn't before. I was hoping that she might give us some news too, or an update, but especially now with her due date being not far around the corner, she might be a bit preoccupied elsewhere!

Just to get a general idea, how good are you at piano, with stuff like note reading, the length of notes (crotchets, quavers), etc? I'd be more than happy to lend a hand, just lacking the piano and video unfortunately.

If you havent seen it, I think it's one of my favourite interviews, Vanessa is eloquent as usual, and it really showcases her tastes and spin on music/fashion.

Hey

I'd just like to say that I think your covers are absolutely wonderful, they really capture the strong piano lines, and I love the little accents you add into them. My personal favourite of yours is Dear California, it's one of the cleanest and brightest covers I've heard of the song.

If I could ask a favour, I'd be so grateful if you could tell me those notes of the right hand at the very end of the song, where she sings 'Won't you love me as I leave, California...'

I love My Best, I tried a cover with some string arrangements on Who's to Say, so I know that it's so hard to put all the different pieces together, but your cover is simply spectacular Great work!

Thanks for the photo, she looks lovely! Tbh she barely looks pregnant at all from that pic in comparison to the announcement one. I'm hoping for some recordings too!

I saw one photo on Instagram but it was very small, and all you could see was Vanessa standing up(presumably singing) and there were a couple of musicians behind her. I think one of the guitarists was John, but haven't found anything else.

I thought this was going to be a well publicised and photographed festival, but information seems a bit thin on the ground at the moment

I was curious about this too!  Hopefully there will be some youtube videos about being a full blown multi artist concert. Do you reckon she'll team up with John and Deer Tick for any songs? Hope there's some nessaholics in New Orleans this week..
