I don't think there are new tracks though, 'cause she left A&M in very bad relashionships... but, who knows right?
I just hope ROTR is released soon!

I've once heard that the song "Prince" was about her belief/disbelief in God, concidering it's one of the very few songs in which she actually talks about it, on the bridge:

Hey guys, first of all, happy new year!
I hope you all, nessaholics had a great start! And I also wish a happy new year for Vanessa! My wish for this year is to hear more of her, and most of all, of her music, so let's pray Rabbits On The Run comes out in 2011, right?
Anyway, I came across this info... It seems Vanessa is realeasing a new album, named ICON with 1 or 3 new songs, and all the other songs are compilations of her three previous albums... like, the best of Vanessa Carlton, or sth like that.
My question is, have you heard of this? Is this true? Does this has anything to do with ROTR?

But the best duet ever, ever, would be Vanessa Carlton - Regina Spektor. That would be like, awesome! They both sing and play the piano, and her songs are quite similar. Though Regina is more anti-folk. And besides, they bot have Russian ancestry (whatever that has to do with anything).
It would be a pleasure to hear her performing with Regina.

the phrase 'Rabbits on the run' pretty much defines the album as a whole pretty well.
as it's used in the song Carousel,
and in relation to all the other songs we've heard so far going to be put on the album,
it REALLY shows Vanessa's maturity.
it's like... her older songs were like anger.. and her newer ones are like acceptance.
(if you get what I'm trying to say)
she's grown up as a person, and it reflects well through her newer songs.
I absolutely get what you mean. I feel the exact same way.
