Great setlist, just wish she'd do any other song instead of "Heroes & Thieves", but that's OK.
Oh, and I'm as anxious as you guys to hear "Carousel", it makes me wonder what are the names of the other songs that are in the album ???
Did she say something about this new song?

I share the same "selfish" feeling as you guys. It's funny 'cause I used to think I was the only one who thought this way.
The thing is, I wouldn't mind at all if she stayed the way she is, not in a major label, as long as she stopped disappearing. I mean, it is ok that she doesn't want the fame, but sometimes I caught myself wondering why the hell so many crappy bands have lots of live albums and DVD's and Vanessa doesn't! If we think, we are losing with that. Exposure and major labels = more of the artist for the fans. But then there's that fact of staying true to her roots, which fame always takes away.
I just wish this lack of exposure didn't interfire so much on us getting material from her.

What I don't get is: if that vinyl story is true, the album must be finished already for her to have it printed, right? Or she postponed the vinyl thing because she later decided it wasn't finished yet? I'm confused.
Whatever, I'd just love a december/X-mas release. Besides, it's the best time of the year for CD sales.

I'd love if this picture was the back art of the album, where the tracklist goes.

Vanessa Songs / Lyrics / Sheet Music / Re: London

I like the song very much, and now, it's my favorite (I think I said this earlier, right? If "Waltz" was still "Waltz," "London" would be my second favorite).  The only lyric change I'm not all to crazy about is "Now I'm staring at the sun, as if they're a riddle I'm not in on."  I'm still a fan of "The earth will turn when we're gone, so we pray that Heaven what's for [on?] us."  I think it fits the "heavenly creatures" aspect more, but that's just me.
I also agree. But I guess I still prefer the song totally as it was before, with the "He waits for me at home" part.
But I'm happy just to know that it's going to be on the album. Since she performed it live for the first time I'm anxiously waiting for the studio version.

What upseats me the most is that there were professional recordings, as it is possible to see in some videos, there are people with big cameras recording it. Wish they would put the show on YouTube :'(

This has to be my absolute favorite nessa song- I'm completely obsessed with it
Me too! The recording from the 2009 Milford Festival makes me get into a transe, no doubt it's my fave Nessa song all-time.

I don't know why, but it has always been a dream of mine that she would have a cover where she appears sat on an unicorn wearing a white dress, in a really beautiful and light green field and a clear blue sky in the back. Also that there would be a photo in the booklet of her walking through a dark forest full of glowing and strange flowers wearing a purple cloak. Yup, strange, I know. But I think that it would fit perfectly "Rabbits on the Run" since from what we know so far it'll have a surreal and fairy tallish take on it. Oh, and of course, she has to keep on using that font style, or a new that has something from the original, like the one used in "H&T", it's still Vanessa looking lol

I like the other line "earth will turn when we're gone" better, also.

I'm confused as to why what I said spurred up conversation about record labels.
I said OLD PR person. they're just friends.
I was only trying to give some insight on the status of ROTR
The guy read what you posted and wondered if anyone here knows if she's on a label. Now I'm confused as to why it seems that you got upseat about it LOL I'm sure discussing about labels is totally IN topic as of now we still don't know if RotR will be released by one or not. So what's the matter?

I thought she was going independent to release this record. Though it's still a shame that any GOOD label signed her and commited to do a decent job.

musically it's rather simplistic. also a pretty typical guitar ballad (v, where's the piano? gone for at least half the song, i think.)

Do you guys think that this might be the song she had said she wrote on guitar?
Yeah, that's what I remembered as soon as I saw that guitar on stage!

Well, I really like it and I feel that it's a 4th album version of "Pretty Baby", they have the same style. And yet, for some reason, it reminds me a lot of "Best Behaviour". How I wish we had a studio version for this one :(
