Hi, everyone!

I updated the masterlist, to include the three latest sheets we have from Liberman. If anyone would be so generous to put up sheets for "Unlock the Lock" and "Ascension," we'd already complete Liberman sheets. Thanks!

Hey all! I haven't been on here in a while... ya know, life.
Anyways, I was bored this morning and decided to write up some sheets for Blue Pool.
I only have the intro, but I've seen a lot of people on the forum waiting for someone to do it, so I figured I'd share.

ETA she likes to make up her own rhythms sometimes, I swear. So, to my knowledge the right hand is correct with those few random little notes in the lower octave lol.

Hello! If you make a pdf file an post a download link, I can put it in the masterlist. Thanks!

Has anyone heard the snippet of "I'm Not Dead" in her latest IG story?

Love Is An Art

Will you tell me your story?
I just want to listen.
I just want the words sink in to me.

I know it's been hard for you.
I know that you're getting through.
If I could be the knife that cuts you free.

Always moving the light through the dark,
Always building up, falling apart,
Love is an art.
Love is an art

If we build a house together,
Structure to withstand the weather,
Shelter from this Tennessee storm.

Always moving the light through the dark,
Always building up, falling apart,
Love is an art.
Love is an art.
Love is an art.

It's a natural game.
It's a natural game.

I don't want to need you.
I don't want to leave you.
I wonder if our babies know who we are.

Always moving the light through the dark,
Always building up, falling apart,
Love is an art.
Love is an art.
Love is an art.

Hello, sorry I haven't checked back here for some time. I think I completed transcribing River last year, but I've forgotten to back to it and upload it here. Will have to check my files, cause it's missing atm.

I really love the record, although whenever I listen to the whole thing, I rearrange the songs according to my own preference. IDK, anyone might want to give it a try as well?

[Studio Versions]
Take It Easy
Operator
Willows
Blue Pool
I'll Wait For You (yes, I include this one)
Young Heart (yes, this one too)
Matter of Time
House of Seven Swords
Unlock the Lock
Nothing Where Something Used to Be
River
Ascension

[Stripped Versions]
House of Seven Swords
Take It Easy
Unlock the Lock
Operator
Willows
Blue Pool
River
Nothing Where Something Used to Be

I actually plan to insert some songs in RoTR, but oh well. This is a new project altogether.

I was just wondering if the lyrics here has been verified to be the exact ones? Cause I realized that at the end, instead of "die," it could also be: "And I go and I--," as if the cutting off was intentional (as if to say that the "I" has already ascended).

I totally agree with you. Besides, when you wake up from a dream, usually you wake up in the middle of it, so it seems only right that she wants to leave that sentence incomplete.

Yes, exactly my point! And it just makes sense if we follow the train of thought that the album's supposed to sound like a dreamscape. And compared to other tracks, this song doesn't have a long outro, so the ending really sounds abrupt, as if, as you said, waking up in the middle of a dream.

This is it! 8)

Edit :
Wait what? Why aren't they already 100 posts after mine, the hype has really decreased the past couple of weeks. Well, it's obvious because we already had half the studio songs and heard the other half in live...

Here are some of my highlights :
- Operator / Moneymaker : my favorite. It's me or this song almost didn't make it before the album got delayed? It would have been a shame to not release it (Hello Best Behavior!).
- House Of Seven Swords : Nice track. Very haunting with the long outro.
- Nothing Where Something Used To Be : in my opinion, this song sounded like a filler when I listened to the live version. I was wrong, this song is superb. Kinda Coldplay-ish in some parts.
- Matter of Time : yeah, that's the filler for me. Not bad, but no piano so I will often skip it
- Unlock the Lock : this track sounds like it was made during the Harmonium era, but was then remastered for the Liberman vibe.
- River : loved the live version, kinda disappointed with the studio arrangement. I will wait for the studio live version.
- Ascension : Well... it's an outro song like In The End. I probably won't listen it too much.

I think Matter of Time isn't supposed to be a filler, but more of a transition. But then, after it was Unlock the Lock, which is more close sonically to the first half of the record (Take It Easy up to Nothing Where Something Used to Be). Actually, I believe that if Unlock the Lock was moved to the first half and Matter of Time, River, (House of Seven Swords), Ascension followed one another, the transition would have been smooth.

But then, I personally wish that You Heart made it to the record, as to provide a sort of accompanying piece to Matter of Time in the guitar-based songs.

But then, I love Liberman, every single track from it. It does take me to another world.

EDIT: And how I love River. The slow pacing at the beginning reminds of an idyllic day, where you walk beside the river, 8-bit video style. The grandness of the sound later on just reminds me of overflowing, until it ends with the quiet end, as if the river finally goes back to its normal level.

I personally like the studio version of NWSUTB because of the sheer fact that it is different from the living room sessions. I think it is very reflective to V's vision of the record--how it is a dreamy and dance-y music on one side and emotional on the other. Whereas the living room session version was about vulnerability, the studio version gives the impression of  a seance-y meditation on heartbreak. I also like the layering of echoes in this version because it does take me into that seemingly out-of-the-body experience she aims to achieve.

Did anyone also got the impression that ironically, the studio version sounds sadder as opposed to the living room sessions version which sounds more hopeful because of the bright piano notes? I'm getting this feeling that there's an actual change in the chords between the live and the studio versions.

Can someone please use their amazing genius transcribing capabilities to figure out the chords of Nothing Where Something Used to Be please?  THANK YOU!

I just posted the sheet music on the master list. Enjoy!

Yup. Got it on Google Play and the audio is fucking amazing. Operator is killing me. I know I said it before but its just so early Vanessa I wanna scream and no one around me will understand what this song is doing to me but you guys!!!

Oh and the trumpets on Take it Easy. This production is going to be amazing.

trumpets? I don't hear it.. am I missing something ? all sounds like synthy stuff to me and distorted piano

There are trumpets! haha
