Mine arrived in the UK this morning from Newbury Comics. Glad I ended up with one from Amazon as well.

As usual, I love how her calmness contrasts with the two hosts, who seem to have enough estrogen (or enough alcohol in their blood?) for the entire state.

I saw the animated version of Watership Down when I about 7 or something. Strangely it wasn't traumatising.

Ah, OK. That's an OK explanation I guess. Too bad there's no way to make it available as a free download to those of us who bought the CD. As much as I love her music, I really don't want to pay for a "virtual" album to get the acoustic tracks, which aren't available separately...

Grrr. I just saw that the iTunes download version has extra acoustic tracks and some behind the scenes video stuff. I can understand them not including the video stuff on the CD (although it was done in the past with Enhanced CD), but why do we lose the acoustic tracks on the CD? It's not like the disc is full.

It's a little puzzling, especially given that Ms. Carlton has been promoting vinyl as the definitive way to hear this. Why punish those of us who like physical media? Do Apple pay the labels off to get extra stuff or something?

You know, The Marching Line is really growing on me. Yesterday I had Hear The Bells on loop, but this has suddenly started to leap out at me... it's another of those Vanessa "hopeful but melancholy" sounding songs.

I liked this a lot - worlds apart from the slightly airy Fox interview.

Does anybody know the name of the person who designed the cover of the album? I wanna check out her other work if she has any :)

Got mine today from Amazon UK :)

I sort of wish I hadn't heard Carousel and Bride online first, so they were brand new. As for the rest of it, Hear The Bells is probably my favourite, especially at around 2 minutes, it's magically haunting.

When I got co-erced into seeing the movie "White Chicks". It was the only good thing about the entire film.

Just found out that I forgot to cancel my Amazon.co.uk copy - which has shipped today. May as well just have 2 copies...

I love how Fox try to grab people's attention by mentioning she's bi and and atheist. Good thing it's not Fox News!

Actually, that's something I'd like to see... Vanessa Carlton versus Bill O'reilly...

28
LOL, classic! Awkward, but not for her at all - the newscasters come across as, shall we say... a little bit vapid.

What's the significance of the rabbits...  ;D

Another one from the UK not arrived yet... it'll just take some time.

For the price, I imagine it's coming via regular USPS air mail. That usually takes about 8 days to be delivered to me in Glasgow, UK, from my experience.

Thanks loads :) Way better than what I would see on satellite here. The Tonight Show airs on CNBC Europe but it's taken from the standard-definition source for some reason. Grrr.
