I'm gonna try and find a copy at my library of The Year of Magical Thinking. WD is realllyyy good, I love that book. My mom thought the movie was a childrens movie and showed it to me when I was like 4. Well, after that I had some nightmares about bunnies dying and being killed.

Well we know she smokes weed occasionally (or not-so-occasionally when she's on tour).
I get the feeling that she might also be an occasional smoker as well.
I can't see her as a pack-a-day regular smoker, but maybe she will have a cigarette every now and then, like when she's stressed or drinking or something (like me)

Not that I'm judging, I would have not place to judge that, I've done plenty worse in my day.  I actually think it would be quite an experience to smoke up with her.  She is probably a lot of fun not to mention the conversations she must have with her enormously smart brain.

I think she's talked about it jokingly. But nonetheless, I wouldn't judge her. I think it would actually be an experience. And yeah, any conversation with her would seem great. She really seems like she could hold a strong conversation.

It's this "whether" not "weather," right? Unless if she's being poetic and describing her thoughts as jumbled.

I don't see why it can't be "weather" tbh. It makes sense, since she's standing on the roof in California.

at first I was thinking weather ? that makes no sense.  Then I listened to it and weather in my head is very poetic.  could be stormy thoughts, or sunshiny happy thoughts, while smoking a cigarette on the roof .

That's what in thinking too. Cause cigarettes are supposed to be calming, right?

Congratulations!
I was anorexic when I was about one ip until I was three. I know that's no where near the same thing as yours but it still nearly killed me. I just, stopped eating cause we had moved around several times and I didn't know what to do. Really freaked my parents out.


I know recovery can be hard and tough and sometimes you might relapse a little but I am proud of you! I'm sure you'll be able to pull through all the way if you ever wanna talk you can always talk to me

Congratulations and good luck saying on the right path.

I can't think of which song would be called Moneymaker though..none of them have that word in it or seem to make sense..

Maybe it wasn't a tittle change, maybe it was it's own sung and she just took it off the album

NOOO don't feel dumb! I could be wrong.  I'm not the be all end all.  Hey, I'm the one that thought she wasn't saying "thunder" in  Carousel, which she clearly does. so, you know, I'm not an authority. It just sounds like it to me, and if that is the case, then that is what it means to me
