I don't see an issue with that 'unprofessional' professional photo, admittedly it looks amateur, but it looks so much more personal and intimate than a professional looking photo shoot. I love the photo. Simple yet effective. And typical English weather!

Meet me there in that afternoon....the longest day, the 21st of June...

I think this might be double entendre, maybe the album will be released on the 21st of June and maybe Best Behaviour will be on it! Why else have the release date as the 21st of June?!

Other thoughts: I wonder if Vanessa ever looks on here?

I've just had a brainwave! Okay, so if you have read my last topic (the 'story' wink wink) then you know what the last cough song cough is on the album! AND if you watch the video on VanessaCarlton.com, then you'll see that when they show the edit on the tape, the reel on the left is almost empty, thus being at the end. Last song = end of reel!

Therefore I conclude that the song on the video and what we're all desperate to figure lyrics out to, is In The End :)

OVER AND OUT
Aghhh so smart thinking.... GOOD JOB.

Hmm... Don't they use one reel for each song? Aren't they separated from each other.

i should think so, yes.

If that's the case, then the end of the reel doesn't really correspond that the song being played is the last song in the record. It just means that it is the end of a song, which can either be at the beginning or the end of the record.

Well if you look at the reel on the right at 2:29, it says VC Master Tracks. I'd have thought (and really hoped :P) that the song name would be on there, but obviously it isn't. I'd have thought if there were individual reels for each song then they would have had names on :s I'm in the studio sometime soon and they have a tape recorder there, I'll ask the sound technician the protocol on recording to tape :)

Wow how did people manage to get ahold of that?

I don't know!  Kulp found it somewhere.
Vanessa's management saw it and asked for it to be taken down.

I wonder who's job it is to troll the internet looking for this stuff.
I don't know..maybe they're watching us right now!  :O
Lol that's a strange idea!!
Yep..they're spying on us.  That's creepy..
Haha cause were that big of a threat...?
Apparently yes.. ;D
Nice to know we're appreciated. Lol :D

But know what, guys? I googled it yesterday and found another forum where the tracklist was posted. I guess I couldn't send you the link, for it might be taken down too. But you just need to google about the tracklist and you'll find it if you're keen to find.

Yesterday, I went to LONDON with my FAIR WEATHER FRIEND and boy have I got a TALL TALE FOR SPRING to tell you :) We went through Trafalgar Square, past a bridal shop and my friend just burst out crying saying, I DON'T WANT TO BE A BRIDE! So after she calmed down I asked her why. She confessed that she'd been married before and that if she got married again, she'd be afraid of that failing too, and it'd be like going round and round like a CAROUSEL. I comforted her and told her everything would be alright :) Behind her back I thought it'd be okay to write a letter to her fiance, Mike Calafornia.

I started the letter, DEAR CALIFORNIA... and led on to explaining my friend's doubt into the marriage. He replied short after that he didn't mind, because he loved her so much. I showed her the letter, which made her more confident into getting married. She was so happy, I could practically HEAR THE BELLS already.

2 weeks later, he returned from the MARCHING LINE in Chopaloopyland. It was a Tuesday and it was raining, but the weather did GET GOOD by the time the afternoon rolled in.

IN THE END they got married and they lived happily ever after.

Wink wink ;)

The version of ATM from Sunset Sessions sounds just like the performance in 2000/2001 when she recorded in a supermarket? I'll try and find the file (I have millions) and put it up, but she's sounding just like did 11 years ago. Who else can do that?! Personally it's a more stipped down, effortless, sweet, yet emotion driven voice. Beautiful. But when hasn't her voice been beautiful?

General Vanessa Carlton Discussion / I have the Rabbits On The Run video!

Okay, so here's the link

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6nDq_l-DalU

I know it's already on the website, but I wanted to put it on YouTube just in case it's taken down when the website is fully working. If anyone wants the video for themselves...tough!

LOL joking, but if you do want the video, then just tell me where one can upload it and then it'll be accessible for the world! woohoo!

I absolutely love this new directions Vanessa has gone, it's like folky music and I am in ore. I just can't describe how unbelievably amazing it all sounds. I'm sure everyone feels the same, but I just can't pull myself together. It's just, ofugdjfjo dvnfogfhjudfihdkieruyhdnjkieuhyrdnjsfhbdnjshfbcnjfhnvcjkdurhncjfn

Okay, so I found this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H1BQcvKImdk or Carousel with Stevie Nicks. It's a different recording than what's been posted previously. Personally, I think you can hear the guitar and backing vocals from Ari more than in the first link. And Vanessa looks so happy. :)

Moneymaker, hmmm. When I think of what it could be about, immediately I think of Irv Gotti :/ and that he must have just seen Vanessa as a cash machine and a piece of meat.

Then I thought, hmmm, Irv gotti, Vanessa Carlton; and immediately thought of that song she played on Gotti's Way. Imagine, that would just be amazing.

I have such good feelings about this album, like someone has said before, the public is more open to different kinds of music these days e.g. Florence and The Machine, Marina and the Diamonds etc so maybe it will be better received that previous albums. I'd be glad if it was, but like most of you guys say, it's nice to have her to ourselves :)

So yeah, just thought I'd splurge loads of random thoughts on here :)

i go to college about an hour away from this place, so i went and snuck in through the back lol

she did:
